    Hey,
I've still been busted my hump trying to get this going. I haven't had much luck. Will the place I picked out work? I tried contacting Backseat Lover via their Website, and got no response. I haven't had any luck finding a closer place either. Did anyone check into the place I suggested? Note: I just got confirmation of my membership shipping, so I am kind of new to this...

Jay is the guy to get a hold of from BSL.. sorry I've been slackin on this... the Flight to Mars fundraiser is our next big Wishlist thing and has taken up 99% of my free time. After this weekend I'm all about the east coast shows.. I know you've been trying hard to get this jump started.. best bet.. Google map the venue and then look for bars within walking distance of the venue and try calling them and seeing what their capacity is and if they'd allow fundraising, 6'foot table, PA access, and stage/sound for a band. Hit up luvistower/Jeannette (she's MSG) with any questions this week :) xoxox

    No,
You have not been slackin. You've just been a tad bit busy :-)

The only thing walking distance I know of are parking lots, unless your willing to walk a few miles. I'll hit up Jeannette. I hope your overthe cold/Flu. Take Care

I just looked at Google Earth and there is nothing around that venue. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Could something be done in the parking lot instead?

Also, Laura, I totally forgot about Saturday afternoon. I may be pretty late to the fundraiser that day if there at all. Sorry. Totally good for Monday though.

Also, I could help with the Hartford one if you need an extra hand. Toni and I will be there pretty early.

I will probably be able to do both nights.

    Where were you thinking?

I know the area pretty well.

My girlfriend lives 10 minutes from the Tweeter and actually works
there serving beer during the shows.

    Not much around there.

    NOTHING within walking distance.

Alright I'll ask this again for thoughts...where would BSL plug in? I don't know of any bars close to the Tweeter Center. Parking lot maybe?

We may have to just set up tents and table in the parking lot. I believe that is what they did in Camden for 2006.

There is just nothing around this place. Why is PJ even playing there? Couldn't get the Fleet Center or whatever it is called now?

Looks like it's more of an ampitheatre tour this year, with the exception of DC, MSG, and Tampa. The Garden's acoustics are far worse than Mansfield IMO.

Tents, grills, coolers, etc in the parking lot work for me!

Believe it or not I have gone so far as to try and contact the venue to get permission for this. The closest place that I know of could work (bands have played there and the manager is willing to listen to someone) is 2.5 miles away on the same road.

That's why I have asked where have they been held in the past for this venue because there is nothing close to it.

My wife and I will be coming from Minneapolis, MN and would love to see how you guys can put on a pre-party. We helped out for the pre parties in 2006 for the Petty/PJ shows in St Paul.

We are also looking forward to seeing how PJ treats the East Coast vs. the Midwest and West Coast, obviously we have heard nothing, but good things.

See you there for both nights.
