SHUTTLE SERVICE
Debbie with Foxfield Taxi is providing us with a 15 person shuttle and taxi service for the evening. The cost will be $10 per person + $2 fuel charge for a total of $12.00 per person each way. You will need to pay the driver $12 cash when you board. The shuttle will begin bringing people to the Tweeter at 5:00 pm until everyone has made it over. The shuttle will also RETURN to Picadilly for post-game wrap up drinkfest :D Since the shuttle can not re-enter the venue after the show, we will meet outside the venue. Exit the main drive way, turn right and across from Cumberland Farms there is a Little Italian Kitchen. Meet out front!

    hey while we're on the subject of mansfields, i was listening to yield today on the way home from work and screaming at the top of my lungs as usual. i got to thinking how cool it would be to have some sort of a chant or sing a long type deal at the first encore. ala in hiding or something along those lines. letting the band know we appreciate the hell out of them even more. soccer fans, euros, they all do it in some way, shape, or form. it would be cool i think and keep me from thinking about my bladder exploding at any second.

    i know i'm out of my gorde here and no i haven't even been drinking today (well, yet). any thoughts???????

    i am so HAPPY there will be a pre-party! :) everyone kept saying it would only be tailgating and as i and i am sure many others too, am traveling from afar and also to hartford first, bit difficult to have tailgating supplies. i FAR prefer a bar or whatever......

    I've still been busted my hump trying to get this going. I haven't had much luck. Will the place I picked out work? I tried contacting Backseat Lover via their Website, and got no response. I haven't had any luck finding a closer place either. Did anyone check into the place I suggested? Note: I just got confirmation of my membership shipping, so I am kind of new to this...

    Jay is the guy to get a hold of from BSL.. sorry I've been slackin on this... the Flight to Mars fundraiser is our next big Wishlist thing and has taken up 99% of my free time. After this weekend I'm all about the east coast shows.. I know you've been trying hard to get this jump started.. best bet.. Google map the venue and then look for bars within walking distance of the venue and try calling them and seeing what their capacity is and if they'd allow fundraising, 6'foot table, PA access, and stage/sound for a band. Hit up luvistower/Jeannette (she's MSG) with any questions this week :) xoxox

    I just looked at Google Earth and there is nothing around that venue. It is literally in the middle of nowhere. Could something be done in the parking lot instead?

    Also, Laura, I totally forgot about Saturday afternoon. I may be pretty late to the fundraiser that day if there at all. Sorry. Totally good for Monday though.

    Also, I could help with the Hartford one if you need an extra hand. Toni and I will be there pretty early.

    Where were you thinking?

    I know the area pretty well.

    My girlfriend lives 10 minutes from the Tweeter and actually works
    there serving beer during the shows.

    Not much around there.

    NOTHING within walking distance.
