Whatcha got there Speedy? Another Lou's?
    It is.
1st time trying spinach and mushroom.
It was pretty disappointing. On a scale of 1/10? It gets a 4.

I would guess you cannot go veg with Lou's. The problem with tomatoes, spinach and mushrooms is the water. It dilutes the sauce makes it mushy if not cooked down before building the pizza. Oil from sausage, pepperoni, or cheese crisps the crust and is full of flavor. I probably would have given that more time in the oven and then a blast under the broiler. But still probably better than any deep dish or frozen pizza available near you!

say what you will about chains, but man, I grabbed a Domino's last night and I love it.

There is a time and place for Domino's. Like when you land at an airport and get to your hotel room starving at 12 am and there are no other options. Or if you are in the middle of nowhere and everything closes at 7pm. And I have to get their tiny soft wings with ranch and mango habanero dipping sauce even if I order a large pie. Last time ordered was near Norcross Georgia and the bill was like $56! Plus tip. But I was glad to have hot food.

But Crojam is 100% right about the output. You can still perceive those processed ingredients in the air. And maybe other places. TMI I know.
I don't have the same output issues with Domino's. haha. Maybe Canadian domino's is different.
Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer

We don’t have the mom and pop type pizzeria in our area and Dominos is our go to pizza. I find it good

I am the opposite. There are tons of local pizza places within a short walk from me. But no chains. There used to be this one Dominoes in my neighborhood. But it closed down. No need for it.

You live in the city correct? There should never ever ever be a need for you to have any chain pizza. And skip the $1.50 slices unless you have overindulged.

Yes. I live in Manhattan. I never do the $1.50 slices. The place I go to the most has $3-4 dollar slices depending on what you get. It is really good. I was in Seattle recently and there was a place that advertised New York style slices. It was $7.00 a slice. I told them that I have never seen a pizza place in NYC charge $7.00 a slice. That is crazy.

Yeah that happens. Even an artichoke slice by the highline is pricey. I know some NY folks will not agree, but I love Two Boots. The Tony Clifton is one of my favorite slices ever.  I miss their GCT location. It was perfect for the train. And they made great takeaway cocktails.

Two Boots in the East Village is right down the block from me. They used to have a full on restaurant as well but it closed over 20 years ago. There used to also be a video rental area in the pizza place. Lots of cool Indie films to rent. In the last few years the sizes of the pizzas have shrunk and the prices have gone up. They also got rid of the whole wheat crust option. It’s still good but I find myself going there less and less.
