The big pepperoni slice that I posted was $7.75. If you want a whole pie?

    I’m sorry, but…..Fuck. That.

Agreed. This is what made me want to learn how to make my own.

It's called Rocco's. To be fair, they are huge, but $54 is way too pricey for me

So go somewhere else and buy 2 pies.  It will prob still be cheaper.

This looks like a pizza that falls in the category of pizza I would eat at 2am on a Saturday night, but certainly not at that price point.

It's a place downtown that is around the bars. The slices are big, and for $7.75 each, they should be! I only get a slice occasionally if I'm in the area.

The problem here in Seattle is that it seems like all pizza is expensive. Not all places are $54 , but they're not exactly cheap either. Over $30 for a large pie. Not to mention that Seattle ain't the best pizza town. Its not terrible, but I feel like I can make comparable pizzas at home, and I'd rather do that because its more fun.

    I ordered 6 more from Lou's today.

My 87-year-old Mom loves them, and she almost eats the whole Pizza herself, and she doesn't eat much at one time as she used to, but she does when it comes to Lou's Pizza=LOL

    Nice!!
    Lou's are addictive. Haha
I like the smallish size to the frozen pies. It keeps me in check. I shouldn't be eating all that much pizza to begin with, and these pizzas limit me to 2 pieces.

Love that your mom can eat almost a whole one. Thats great! I used to bring food over to my mom and dad's when they were in their 80s. Same thing, neither ate much. Except when I would bring over some fried chicken and homemade apple pie. Then for some reason their appetite returned! Haha
    Take me piece by piece.....

I started some pizza dough for sometime in the future. I’m first gonna let the dough balls ferment in the fridge for 72 hours. Then I’ll either use em or freeze em.

Went to John’s on Bleecker tonight. People grabbed slices before I could take a photo. It was so good.

I remember seeing that place when I was walking around the neighborhood a couple summers back. Didn’t get to try it though. Looks really good. I’ve had a couple slices from Joe’s , and then a buddy took me to Slicehaus. I thought both were great.

John's has always been a great spot. Try Arturo's on Houston near the Angelika.

Today I used the dough I mixed up last Friday. I used my sourdough starter for the yeast. After the 72 hour cold ferment I put it in the freezer.
