The cold didn't bother us at all. Yesterday's drive was worse with the nonstop rain from South Carolina to Florida. Had a couple of toddler meltdowns today, but all in all a great first day for my son's first visit to Magic Kingdom. Found out we did not like dark/scary at all and of course Haunted Mansion was the first ride we did lol. Loved It's a Small World and Jungle Cruise. My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Tusker House. My son didn't like the food all that much, but he was over the moon getting to meet Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. Gonna head back to Magic Kingdom on Wednesday to do things we weren't able to get to today.

It's been a really good trip. It took 2 days of trial and error to figure out the best way to do Disney with our 2.5 year old. We thought that going early and coming back to the hotel after lunch was going to be the best. Turns out we needed a leisurely morning, going to the playground/pool at the resort, then getting a nap before going to the park of the day for the afternoon. Doing this the last 2 days was definitely the way to go. Still a meltdown or 2, but far less than the first 2 days.

My son does not like the rides. He absolutely LOVED the Starlight Parade and meeting all the different characters. He's so proud of the autograph book and getting all their signatures when meeting them.

Really cool thing happened at Hollywood Studios today. We were last in line to meet Woody and Jessie (Toy Story) and after meeting them got to walk them back to the Toy Box. It was like a parade just for him!

Tomorrow is Animal Kingdom, which I think will be a hit. We did the Kilamanjaro Safari before our dinner at Tusker House earlier in the week and he's been looking forward to doing that again.

You picked a great time to go! Parks are not too crowded, weather has been nice, perfect.
I would have loved to have seen the expression on your son's face when you 1st walked in to Toy Story Land. All the colors and the 15 foot tall Woody!

He had the best look of amazement on his face when we walked into that part. The weather has been absolutely perfect. Too bad we have to go back to the winter storm that's coming this weekend.

Pool is very nice and big. Not a lot of people swimming when we went, but that's probably because most people were at the parks. It was also a little cooler, so we wound up spending more time at the hotel tub and playground, which has a pretty awesome slide. I kind of wish I could get up there and do it.

Best meal would be Crystal Palace. Fantastic buffet there and are very allergy friendly, which is key for my son. Best drink was Rum on the Range at Roundup Rodeo BBQ...it's like an adult Yoohoo. Unfortunately, we missed Ohana because we didn't plan well for a tired toddler that day. Disappointing, but oh well.

We haven't really taken advantage of the snacks...just gotten pretty generic stuff like popcorn and strawberry Outshine bars. We did try the blue and green milk from Star Wars, which was interesting.

I think we've officially hit the wall though. We got through the Kilamanjaro Safari this morning and little man was like let's go see Donald and Daisy then go back to hotel. We're going back to Epcot tonight for dinner, so we might try to get some better snacks then.

We were all set to go to Epcot this evening ourselves, but the wife has to work a little later than usual. So it looks like we will be there tomorrow somewhat early, then grab lunch there.
    Where is dinner tonight?
