Alive -- I can still remember hearing this song for the first time and just being blown away. I still am. The voice, the riff. What more can I say.

Given To Fly -- Just a fantastic song. Period.

Sleight of Hand -- A wonderfully weird song, I can listen to this one over and over and never tire of it.

for me personally(being a songwriter myself) music has always been about the words. . .what is being said what you interpret them to mean and how they make you react. . . therefore i am going to choose(and this is a very difficult task becuz i find almost all of pjs songs to be intimate and speak to me). . .

1) indifference~"I will the match this morning; So I won't be alone. . ." its just a beautifully spooky song that every time i hear it i get goose bumps and chills up my spine. . .

2) Alive~for a more personal reason. . .to make a long story short. . . back in the day my best friend(who so happens to be my guitar player) was forbidden to see me anymore by his stepmother(for all intensive purposes she will herein be known as the BITCH) because i was a "BAD INFLUENCE" and ALIVE just seemed to be on the radio every time we snuck out to see each other. . . "I'm still alive. . ."

3) immortality~such a moving piece of art. . . paints a vivid picture. . .like a video in my head. . .everytime it starts. . .moving words. . .such diverse lyrics. . . all those years spent detained having to write out passages from dictionaries. . . finally paid off. . .

i must say this was a difficult task to pick three and only three. . . every pj song has a special place in my heart and in my life. . . thank you for making me tour the vessle in my head and come up with this. . . i had a great time with my mind. . . trying to figure it out. . .

I have trouble to find the best 3 albuns... 3 songs its almost impossible...

1.- Oceans - When I listen this song I feel my heart turns so litle... reminds me my childhood... I don´t know why... Listen OCEANS makes me wish turn back time and live all my life again... only tears wash this feelings back from where they came... When I buy the greateast hits I could not believe that this song wasn´t there...

2.- Yellow Ledbetter - This one makes me alive... Eddie voice grows in me all the passion that I have for the good things in this world... fantastic! I just want to grab all my friends, family, pets, hife, son, and kiss them... lol

3.- The longest title in Pearl Jam catalogue... Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town... one, two, three, four, two... - Does any one recognize this start? - Probably the song with most metaphores (I don´t know how to write, I´m protuguese ; )) and all so cool... I love to sing this song...

Present Tense: I love this song, specially the live version, it makes me feel chills everytime I listen...

Man Of The Hour: it´s one of the most beautiful songs of PJ in my opinion, besides particular reasons to like this song...
