    Will start doing that soon^^
We have a potluck to go to. Doing my tomatillio green chili.
East coasters don't really know this. It is so fantastic. This time taking some extra time to smoke the seared up pork.
Will let her simmer way for a good amount of time.
    Yumfest

That looks great. I am an east coaster and know all about it. Have had some really good ones with turkey or chicken in them. I also know about hatch chiles and ordering Christmas style!

I order them frozen from New Mexico. Pricey but great. Sometimes you can find them at farmers markets, but I am not sure they are always authentic. Possibly grown locally from New Mexico seeds. Christmas style, half green chile salsa, half red.

I’m so over the cold, and it’s not even brutal yet…had a nice lunch with pork belly ramen… yellowtail sashimi, Tuna rolls with Toro wrapped around… 3 sapporos and shared a sake jug… I’m warmer now 👍👍

Funny, as much as my life is focused around Japanese food, I am not a ramen fan, although it does hit once in awhile. I much prefer hot soba noodles. Same with sushi rolls. I do not really eat them although we do have Japanese rice balls (onigiri) all the time. Good nori is the key. I do enjoy a spicy spider roll once in a blue moon. And Nobu made a fortune off that yellowtail dish (although he adds roe or caviar). Three main ingredients and delicious every time. Easy to make if you can get the fish. We do it all the time, and not just with yellowtail.

That looks amazing… I’m gonna get a tower next week at a lunch in nyc @ Docks…. I could do damage on that platter… my buddy use to always say entering the “ bone zone” when ordering oysters like an idiot, and one of our lady friends would say… what’s he mean 🤣… I love naive people 😝 regardless they are good always

i just shared my last bottle of Buccella .. I was afraid.. 2016 was almost a decade but it was amazing…just chilling at home tonight … feeling good. Haven’t had wine in a while . Going on a 3 week no booze stretch starting tomorrow .. gonna have infinity beers in Germany in December.. can’t wait to sample some great German restaurants … hope you are doing well… you still in Philly?
