Disney Vacations

My niece and her boyfriend(they are both in their late 20's) are coming to Disney for a week. They arrive this evening. Kathy and I are meeting up with them both tomorrow and Thursday. Its their show, so whatever they want to see and do is great, Kathy and I will be there for the ride. They realize Kathy and I are "professionals" when it comes to doing the parks, but still, its their show. If its a Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan, and Splash Mountain kind of day? GREAT! But I hope they dont mind the lines for these. Haha

Should be a decent time to go crowd wise. All the school vacations and majority of college intercessions will be over.

In all our trips to Disney over the last 29 years, Kathy and I only managed to make it to Animal Kingdom 2 or 3 times. This week we have been there twice. 
Flight of Passage is just SO MUCH FUN!
Did that 3 times
The Navi River Journey twice 
Did the Safari twice
The Lion King Show was a lot of fun. 

Had Yak and Yeti for dinner. Oh my!!
Delicious!!!!!
And she got a couple Dole Whips.

Animal Kingdom has been great. 

It's been years but I remember being really impressed with it. The day we went was brutally hot though....I think it was 105 or something. Just a sweaty mess and it was crowded as hell for some reason.

I pound so much water when Im at the parks. Its ridiculous.

Parks are very busy.
Weekends are CRAZY BUSY.

I've read plenty of news stories that are telling me how attendance is down at Disney. Im just not seeing it. The parks are plenty busy.

Yeah, my wife the past 2 years has said she's reading the parks are dead. Then we go and place is jammed.
I think we are seeing classic fake news social media posts saying Disney parks are empty cause they went woke.

My tiktok feed is full of Vegas stuff about how bad attendance is but I just heard the news report that tourism is down like 8%

I'm sure that is noticeable there but that doesn't seem like a huge drop.

Yea...should be interesting. Saw them in AC back in June....The pit got wild at the end...this time its a different  ballgame with their Catacombs Shows.....If it wasnt a Friday id pass....ive been all over this year...Love it, but gotta stop being selfish...lotta Birthdays coming and holidays.....Everyones getting used venue cups this year

The ones I hope we get are Ohana and Le Cellier. Tucker House for breakfast is currently the leader for character dining. Outside of those, I'm not sure what's on her list.

Ohana is ridiculously good.

Planning Disney meals is fun.
