So passé to do what JW just did earlier this year! Grohl is so unoriginal
Back in 2011, the Foos played a series of small club shows (500 capacity and under) that they dropped hints for on Twitter and only revealed the venue at 5pm DAY OF show and it was a mad dash to the venue to get a wristband for $20. They started each show playing Wasting Light in its entirety 2 full months before the album was released, plus another 2+ hours of hits.

And as Joe mentioned, they’ve played other small club shows several times over the years.

I know it just seems like he’s reaching for good publicity but who am I to say 🤷‍♂️

putting in for presales for nashville, toronto, and regina.

regina is closest, but wife can't get vacation in sept.
toronto is actually my daughter/concert buddy's 17th birthday. that would be sweet.
nashville bucket list, but US dollar and fascism puts it last on the list. lol

Most likely skipping this one :(

Went to the Seattle show last year, so I think I'm good.  Maybe if it wasn't another stadium show.  I'm growing weary of Stadiums.  It's crazy that arena shows feel like a treat now :)

There's almost a month gap between D.C. & Fargo, I'm hoping they add more dates, sort of weird no Boston, NYC, Montreal, nothing in California or Florida

I’m just hoping QOTSA squeeze some headline dates in. Zero interest in seeing FF.

Exactly what I was thinking, most likely the case, hopefully not as expensive.  As nicknyr15 stated, I'm more interested in QOTSA that the Foos but QOTSA just played 2 show in Boston in June and another earlier this month, granted the June shows were make-up dates that were originally in Sept. 2024.  I doubt they're going to be playing a headlining show in Boston so soon, I hope I'm wrong but if I have to see them with the Foos, so be it provided I don't need to travel too far.

It's cruel, if you're sitting on dates, but don't announce them all at the same time.  People buy tickets and arrange travel to the few shows you did announced, only to find out they didn't have to travel.

We're sitting on some expensive Toronto Rush tickets, but now they're playing Vancouver.  I hope we can sell them.

I could see why Rush did it this way. They likely weren't sitting on those dates per se. They likely had them asd options if there was demand, but they just didn't want to take the financial risk if the demand wasn't there post-Peart.

Hopefully Foos aren't pulling a fast one, being a current band, knowing their demand, and trying to increase it artificially. But you never know.
