    1) Just get rid of them. Focus more on guns than drugs. I have said it before. Cops in Japan do not even carry guns. Because there is zero tolerance. Just get rid of them. Guns equal crime and death.
No, people who are mentally ill and have never been trained in proper gun usage and ownership equal crime and death.  Somehow none of my guns, or guns owned by a hundred friends and acquaintances have ever been used for a crime much less used improperly at all.  Weird. But just to make you guys happy, I will sit down with my guns tonight and have another talk with them. Just to be safe.

    1) Just get rid of them and then mental health is a non-issue. Easier to eliminate guns than control the mental health of millions of people.
Edit: Start with handguns. Keep your camo mossberg.
2)True, but then there will be a lot of cowards that won’t feel safe without the ability to kill somebody at any moment.

It is no secret that the US has one, if not the highest, gun related homicide rate amongst developed nations. 1) Fewer guns means less shooting. It is not complicated math. The only reason to allow guns is because other people have guns. Just get rid of them all.

Unfortunately, it will not change anytime soon and I am not sure there is a way to repair what has already been allowed. Politicians have tried and failed time and time again. I go back to my Japan example. You can get a hunting rifle after extensive background checks, but no handguns for civilians. Ever. They have crime, but less people die.
    1) Well, getting rid of them would be against the Constitution and isn't logically intelligent.  Stop whining about illegals being deported without due process if you don't support the Constitution.  I don't have a handgun (yet...TBD), or a camo Mossberg.  I have a single barrel, hammer action shotgun with a beautifully polished barrel.

Once again, leftists don't understand if you take guns away, criminals keep theirs.  Non-criminals would lose their legal guns that they don't commit crime with.

Want to stop drunk drivers from killing sober drivers? Take cars away from sober drivers. That's how gun control works.

    2) What an embarrassing, untrue, and ignorant thing to say.  YOU are the reason so many of us don't intend to vote for a Dem any time soon. As soon as Dem culture stops blaming victims for things while defending the criminal, maybe we can win elections again.

Why does this scenario of "take away our guns and the criminals still have them" always become the argument?

In general we stupid libtards would prefer that weapons would be harder to obtain. That's it. Comprehensive background checks, registration and licensing, etc. Just like a motor vehicle.

This is the result of our gun culture. Idiots that think guns solve everything and that they can use them whenever they feel like it.

Always important to remember that people who like guns are weird. Imagine being fascinated with a thing that’s sole purpose is to end life.
Weird post to make considering a plethora of uses for guns have repeatedly been given that don't involve killing.  Including just 2 above this post.  If someone is unable to change their opinion/mind when provided evidence to the contrary is a sign of brainwashing and indoctrination.  My beliefs and opinions are always evolving as I gain new knowledge.

Oh yeah no doubt, guns don’t always kill (and most of the time they are a deterrent from escalation) but make no mistake, killing things is the endgame intention of their existence.

    Whether game or humans.
