frozen forgotten bread. Toasted in the pan with my "famous" garlic scape butter ;) eggs, half and half, Mexican sea salt and pepper. Dill, using up last years dried plus some fresh.
Not sure what it would be called but yummy and a great way to use up old bread.

Frittata or egg casserole or savory sourdough bread pudding.

    Made a summer corn salad.
    Strange but great combo.

Corn, cucumbers, peaches, blueberries, onions, basil, dill, lime, chipolte peppers. Fresh jalapeños would be great too. Don't have any yet.

I like strange combos. In food and in relationships. It just works even when it shouldn't. Your fresh summer blend looks amazing! Yum!

One of my favorite places in NYC. But you need to know what to order, some of the food is very mediocre. Great room though.

Grand Central Station is not just a train station it’s 4-5 levels of shops and restaurants plus it’s brand new practically

One the more beautiful stations in the country. Inside and out. The oyster bar is a classic NYC experience if you order right. If you find yourself at the Oyster Bar, stick to the left side of the menu and the oysters, preferably at one of the bars or the saloon. The waiters in the dining room can be annoying and trying to get you to order the most expensive items. The sea scallop pan roast is one of my favorite dishes in the country. In the summer they usually have lobster gazpacho which is outstanding. Order today's catch from the right side of the menu and you will get a $50 piece of overcooked fish with frozen vegetables and a bland potato. Fried stuff is also very good.

Regarding annoying waiters: my wife and I were once having beers on the 52nd floor of the BOA building in SF. The waiter was affecting some sort of accent. We got to talking. He was from Vegas, graduated from a rough HS and knew some of the same low lifes I did.
