On the topics of Five Guys. What is your go-to burger?
Last few times I’ve ordered a bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, grilled jalapeño, mayo, and bbq sauce.
Jr. Cheeseburger, ketchup, mustard, pickles, raw onions and jalapenos. Small cajun fries. Coke zero or a sprite.

And if we are discussing hot dogs?
GIVE me a Vienna beef, chicago style, the works, with celery salt. Actually give me 2.

I grew up in CT and we have strong preferences for our local dogs. Hummel Bros. Rosols, etc. I actually mail order them once or twice a year.

I love a good Chicago dog, especially Superdawg because they use pickled tomatoes. I would never put ketchup on a Chicago dog, but grew up with ketchup, mustard, relish and onions as the standard toppings and mustard and sauerkraut when i lived in NYC. And the dog must be grilled. That is my one complaint about the Chicago dog, steamed/boiled dogs are not my favorite.

I've got something fun I'm gonna try for dinner tonight. If it turns out good, I'll share here! I'm also going to make a raspberry crumble with a bunch of raspberries from my back patio area. We have harvested at least 7 of those 32 oz yogurt containers worth of berries so far, and more are getting ripe to pick every day.

Tonight I made Dubai Tacos. I found the recipe on YouTube and had to try it. Middle eastern seasoned smash burgers cooked with the tortilla on top. Good stuff.

Nice. Goldmine with those raspberries. Out here farms sell them for 7.50 a half pint!  I like to hunt wild ones but recently found out they are 'wineberries' look the same and taste good. Also have a wild blackberry obsession. Those rip you to shreds!

pork green chili...again! No poblanoes. Only peppers are jalapeños.
    Tomatillos, beer.
Added about 1/4 cup of sugar to combat the heat.
Cut up the pork and put back in.

Will be eating this forever. Likely freeze some or mail to Tahoe Jeff for some berries!

Blackberries abound here. They are the most delicious invasive plant species. It was actually pretty surprising to move into this apartment and have blackberries on my back patio area. it's the only area on the property that they grow. I am taking full advantage.

    God I love dumplings,

I’ve been super busy this past week so I haven’t really put much effort into cooking. I got back from Portland on Sunday and was pretty wiped. So I made a low effort children’s meal, and it was simple and tasty. Pigs in a blanket, Mac n cheese, baked beans. The latter two were not homemade. Lol

Wife did a scallion herbs olive oil brine for overnight on top of cedar plank thus way the plank is soaked and won’t catch fire! Outstanding results
