Also, anyone who uses the term "liberal media" to describe the largest media outlets who currently white wash most things this admin and its peripheral players are doing is wholly unserious.

Biden has no doubt had failings and shortcomings and they've certainly been addressed in this thread over the past 2 weeks. But his admin did have successes too. The largest being the Bipartisan infrastructure deal. Now assuming that stuff still gets funded, its a major modernization act that help bring back the economy coming out of covid and boosted employment and reduced unemployment to 30 year lows.

The American Rescue Plan also boosted the nations access to affordable healthcare. Real stuff that helps real people.

Didn’t help nobody nowhere. Just added tremendous amounts to the debt. And you know how I know? Not one repub voted for either of those two bills. Not one.

"if dems hadn't won the two elections they won, they would have lost both". Now that's some fucking genius logic right there folks.

I think the point was the rules for the Biden victory were different from every other election we’ve had in recent times. These rules benefited Democrats, clearly. I know it’s been a long time which makes it difficult to think up there, and I know the Oilers could end the agony, but let’s try to think clearly, man. You can do better. I know you don’t think that, but it’s true

if you don’t believe that, the advances to quantitative computing are astounding in the last year. You can ask AI and learn something for yourself, but you have to know how to phrase the right question. Here’s the question to ask AI. Post into Google and learn. You are welcome.

“did the 2020 general election have different rules for voting?”

What examples do you have that show we can contain the dangers of a nation without containing the dangers of their leadership?

You mean, the story that was broken by *checks notes* "Liberal Media" CNN Talking Head Jake Tapper. Let me google news him real quick and lets see what sort of sourcing...oh

While it’s true that the liberal media broke the story…It’s also true that the liberal media is pretty much ignoring it. The Democrats (and Bidens team)  spent a lot of time telling us that Biden was the only person capable of beating Trump while someone was responsible for hiding his true condition from us.

It’s paramount we learn the who what where when how behind this so we are not being lead by corrupt politicians in the future. But no one on the left seems to care

I mean, holding onto power or a job around that power is a tale as old as time.

Washington has a way of taking its own trash out because people want to move up the ladder of power. I’m less concerned about the who because they are currently out of their campaign or WH job. And if they want to run or work for someone else again, there’s an albatross of complicity to this around their neck and they are outed on social media or in the DC circles. And some people won’t work again and some people will. These people won’t be hung in the town square or even go to jail.

The buck stopped with Joe and Jill, the campaign manager and the chief of staff. Lay the blame there. Move on to the next thing.

I have learned to not trust AI for research. I only use it for fun. It hallucinates too much. I recently had a student turn in a paper on a book that I wrote. He used AI. There were quotes attributed to me that I never said, citing page numbers that didn’t exist. It also made up names of people in the book, as well as experiences that I supposedly wrote about that didn’t happen. After that, I rarely trust AI for important information. I would rather go to the actual - preferably - peer reviewed sources for any research information.

I hate to say it but this is correct. Under normal circumstances Trump dominates 2020. He is America and America is him. There is no viable opposition party. And there hasn't been since ODS (Obummer Derangement Syndrome) hit the peak in his second term.

MAGA is the only party now and for the forseeable future. And it's because of the most beloved person in the history of this country.

Is that the altered image that originally came from a Japanese company's advertisement, or is there a real photo out there?

I've only heard of the former.

every other candidate has overcome a fake photo/video and this would be no different.

now if we want to talk about America electing a gay man, thats a different discussion. But I don't think a poor photoshop existing is game changer.

Right now with a dip in support for gay marriage among conservatives (now closer to 40% support, down from a high of 55% 3 years ago), it would be a hot button issue and I don't know if its a swing issue for those who are soft conservative or not. Luckily its still very high (75%) among Dems and indies (averaged to 68% of all US adults, all parties).

Its really about finding out how those that don't vote feel about it and if he can bring them into the booth.

I do think Pete is the best mouthpiece for Dems right now. He respectfully takes no shit, makes arguments pragmatically and does it with a midwestern affable manner.

No way Pete gets elected at a national level. He could become the dem nominee but he’ll never become president, unfortunately.

“did the 2020 general election have different rules for voting?”
What specific “rules” benefitted Brandon? How so? Did they give Brandon an advantage that was not available to COOTWH? If so, why? Who bears responsibility for it?

Its remarkable to watch the rewriting of history to try and lay all of the blame on Dems rather than hold repubs accountable for what they, and they alone with “indies” and non-voters have foisted upon a once great nation.

Sold their souls. Because “the other.”

No way Pete gets elected at a national level. He could become the dem nominee but he’ll never become president, unfortunately.
    I think you're right...not in 2028 at least.

I think the GOP is going to be in a very strange place. The nomination process will be interesting as I think they will all be trying to be trump version 2 and it will be very hard for non narcissists to accomplish that.

On the topic of the GOP, the question to me is, what percentage of Republican voters vote that way due to Trump, versus due to Republican ideals. I have no way of knowing, of course, but the next election may reveal that. It's often hard to replace a charismatic dictator who has promoted himself as the 'only viable option'. What would happen in Russia tomorrow if Putin died and (for some reason) the country decided to embrace a democratic election?

While it’s true that the liberal media broke the story…It’s also true that the liberal media is pretty much ignoring it. The Democrats (and Bidens team)  spent a lot of time telling us that Biden was the only person capable of beating Trump while someone was responsible for hiding his true condition from us.

It’s paramount we learn the who what where when how behind this so we are not being lead by corrupt politicians in the future. But no one on the left seems to care

They broke the story they are ignoring. Got it.

It makes sense if you don't think about it.

States control their voting rules. That’s in the Constitution literally.  So yes, there are different rules for voting EVERY ELECTION.

Rules that make it easier to vote and increase turnout benefit Democrats.

Thanks for more pearls of wisdom that blow our minds.
