This is a real tell. Public health and vaccination are not partisan issues. By the way, Trump was president when they implemented 15 Days to Stop the Spread, and then 30 Days to Stop the Spread. Not Hillary Clinton. Not Joe Biden. Trump was the president who authorized Operation Warp Speed to quickly develop the vaccine. For Christ's sake, Trump complains to this day that the vaccine wasn't available before the 2020 election. But it's all Democrats' fault.

It's not practical for people with disabilities, immuno-compromised, co-morbidities to isolate themselves fully. They have to go to work, the doctors, their kids and grandkids are in school, etc. Second, you are applying knowledge you have now to decisions that were made without that knowledge. Unless somehow you had some advance knowledge that the Trump administration didn't have. Pray-tell, was that the situation?
But let's talk about these co-morbidities. Over 100MM Americans are considered obese. Over 120MM have heart disease. 18MM have cancer. 38MM have diabetes. Certainly there is overlap here, but it's easy to say that almost half of Americans have a co-morbidity. So yeah, I'm pretty happy with how the vaccine turned out. Now you tell me how half of America can isolate themselves while their wives, husbands, kids, parents, continue to live life as normal, and not transmit the disease.

Another important part is just how many of these co-morbidities may not be known to the individual affected, specifically heart disease.
