As much as I hate Fenway, I'll take it over Mansfield... I'm so glad they stopped playing there.0

Death, taxes, and DMB playing 30-40 shows nearly every summer. Good for him and his fans.0

Envious of that schedule, though let's face it: if PJ did the same I'd go bankrupt.#Grievance20250

I always thinks it's so bizarre when people say shit like this -- music is so deeply personal for me that I just think it's so weird to judge what someone else likes. I don't personally like DMB but I don't think my musical taste is any better than someone who does because I like PJ -- that just feels like middle school mentality to me.matt84 said:

Counterpoint: It's fun to make fun of bands you don't like and, knowing how tastes vary, you shouldn't take it personally if someone shits on a band you likePrezIntense said:

I agree you shouldn't take it personally, and I wouldn't. I also wouldn't wanna be around someone who does. And if it's fun for you then fucking rock on, man -- live your best life. I just think it's kid shit and when I stopped having the "only my music is cool" attitude it opened me up to soooo much shit I wasn't allowing myself to like.pjl44 said:

I don't really care for DMB but have a lot of respect for him as a musician and for the band as a whole. And there are some bangers in there -- I always like that Two Step song...something about that shuffling bluegrass beat and the melody is really interesting. I saw a post come across my feed recently when he was talking about getting inducted in the HoF and then told a story about the first club they played in and it was really touching...makes you realize how far they've come.
Anyways...how boring would it be if we all liked the same stuff?1996 Charlotte

I totally agree with you. I don’t care what music anyone listens to and will never judge. Unless you like Dave Matthews. DMB is the only exception.PrezIntense said:
