I have not been rapidly refreshing. I have looked a few times. There is really nothing there. Either nobody is really selling or bots are getting to them really fast. Compared to the last few years I am not sure that rapid refreshing is the way to go anymore.

Bitten once twice shy. I’ll open the 2 Raleigh shows and now the 2 Atlanta shows in the morning and periodically check them when I have time. If I get lucky I get lucky. It does time out after 30-45 minutes and requires a refresh. TM is already playing games with Raleigh N2 and the 300 level and the premiums haven’t been moving in days. I’m speculating they still have a bunch of floor and lower level that they haven’t put out so I feel good about hitting that eventually. N2 though is a Sunday so it will be harder to hit.

I have definitely scaled back both in terms of time and the number of shows I am looking at. I don't want to "waste" refreshing effort and get blocked when it feels like there is little being listed right now.

And many 10Cers have dumped their extras. Much of what will become available in the future is probably being held as bartering currency for now in hopes of upgrading to better seat, the floor and the mythical GA.

Oh for sure, but doesn’t stop people from selling their unopened extras. Thing is why people buying more than one if your not buying for a friend and their sole purpose is to sell it for double the price.

So, what is the theory behind 0 tickets being available for nearly every show, but Raleigh 2 has had hundreds of face value seats listed for the past few days with no movement? About 4 days ago there were no face value available for Raleigh 2, but then out nowhere, a couple hundred got loaded at the same time and nobody is snagging them. Seems really odd.

Not really too odd. Ticketmaster is going to throttle the release of the tickets to maximize profit. I imagine that their internal metrics are showing that Raleigh 2 is not a huge demand show so they’re just dumping the tickets on the market to move them.

The algorithm figured out the Tuesday show in Raleigh is probably going to be the least demand show, so they unloaded those uppers first. Sunday is a tougher ticket, they may be holding out on tickets for that show.

Pittsburgh uppers and side stage sold out within 30 minutes of sale time…I watched it happen in real time and I don’t think TM was playing games on that one. At least we know the side stage tickets won’t be dropping day of show. TM will drop rows of tickets for every show as we get closer. 99% chance they’re premiums with the occasional row of standards. Within 48 hours of each show TM will drop standards in the best sections, this has been practice since 2022.

My concern is that since the standard drops have become standard practice for the past 3 tours, that’s what everyone is hoping for and it could be a shit show the week of the show.

if you look at the list, all those tickets are listed as ticket type Artist pre-sale. They were available up to the end of the pre-sale then TM removed them to make the public sale look more sold out and force people to by over priced premium. When sales stalled TM put them back, There were also many uppers for Nashville 1 when the pre-sale closes. Those Nash have not been put back. Remember last year how tight Vancouver shows were after the sales started. PJ page even listed the events as sold out. Then 3-4 weeks before the shows the whole back of the lower bowl dropped and many for N1 never sold. TM does this as manipulative practices. What will happen possibly is that those 200s will sell, then many 100s will pop up. TM gives you the impression that you can sell your tickets on F2F, if you buy 200s you will get stuck with them and have to decide to enjoy the show from your seat or buy another pair that are closer and your 200s wont sell. Basically getting 2x the money for seats. Just be patient... The way im seeing these shows, demand is not what it appears and tickets will not be hard, even decent lowers in the wings.

Not odd. Standard practice for Ticketmaster. They always hold back tickets. Some are production holds, or for local promotions or for the band/promoters. That’s not what’s happening for Raleigh N2.

What’s happening here is they are trying to create the illusion of demand to get people to buy the PJ premium or the extreme side view (which were available for a couple of weeks). They hold back hundreds (or thousands for stadiums) when the event it’s selling well. For people looking for tickets they want to give the illusion that there is limited availability and let FOMO kick in. Either they got rid of their targeted allotments or the event still has a bunch of tickets available. Might be both in this case. This was always going to be the least in demand show of this tour. Raleigh isn’t much of a draw to start off with like (Hollywood, or Nashville). It doesn’t have the metro area like Atlanta or the wider driving market like Pittsburgh. Throw in a Tuesday show and it’s not a surprise.

Thanks. I guess that makes sense. On another note, I see a trend on the Pittsburgh shows that may be a good sign for those looking to go. Stub hub pricing has gone down for both shows over the past few days. Since Friday the cheapest seats for N1 went from $432 to $314 and for N2 they went from $296 to $288. Pretty significant drop in 3 days, plus there are a lot more available. I honestly don't the demand for any of these shows (outside of Hollywood) is terribly high.

Lmao. Low demand? For Pittsburgh? That's hilarious. That show, and the rest of the tour, are pretty much sold out, save for a handful of Premium and standards TM is probably holding onto. Once those are released, those will sell too.

Demand for PJ has only increased, in part due to the band's decision to tour less. The only inkling of "low demand" in recent times was last year's Euro shows, and those still mostly sold.
