I can't wait to see trump roll out his cabinet. Really curious who the Chief of Staff will be.
Who will agree to be SecDef?
Certainly he owes favors to Gabbard.

The biggest mistake (from his POV; not mine) he made last time was not surrounding himself with enough loyalty. Loyalty to him will be the primary factor.
A few I have in mind- RFK Jr will probably be Health and Human Services
- Education probably won't be filled because they'll end it as soon as possible
- Obviously Musk for the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)
- I could see Tulski being the Sec of Defense since she helped swing a few Dems, has military history, and is on board with his love of the true Motherland.

How interesting that this election has emboldened several people who all of the sudden find AMT worthy of their time. The attack is on!Well, enjoy your dictator, people. Sorry about the buyer's remorse you will have to suffer through. As for me, I'm moving on to greener pastures. The inconsistency of what is and isn't allowed here is just not worth the headache. I will miss some of you, others, good riddance.PM me if you want to keep in touch elsewhere.Brian

The Chinese are falling in line and bowing down to America again.
The terrorists in the Middle East now know terror and want to end the war.
Putin will have to concede and end his war.
DOW and Bitcoin skyrocketed because of the President Elect.
Humanity is in the right track again. The opposite of all that would have happened if KH won. Be thankful. The future is brighter then ever. America's golden age is upon is.

Trump's first term was filled with mistakes on personnel. I would lean towards outsiders, not the DC crowd. Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party, along with the establishment wing of the Republican Party, which allied itself with Harris, live in their own non-reality-based belief system. Harris, who was anointed by party elites and never received a single primary vote, proudly trumpeted her endorsement by Dick Cheney, a politician who left office with a 13 percent approval rating. The smug, self-righteous “moral” crusade against Trump stokes the national reality television show that has replaced journalism and politics. It reduces a social, economic and political crisis to the personality of Trump. It refuses to confront and name the corporate forces responsible for our failed democracy. It allows Democratic politicians to blithely ignore their base - 77 percent of Democrats and 62 percent of independents support an arms embargo against Israel. The open collusion with corporate oppression and refusal to heed the desires and needs of the electorate neuters the press and Trump critics. These corporate puppets stand for nothing, other than their own advancement. The lies they tell to working men and women, especially with programs such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), do far more damage than any of the lies uttered by Trump.1998: 6/26, 6/27, 6/29

I'm not seeing anywhere in his statement that he supports Trump. Here's yet another reply where you aren't defending the Democrats, but you are still focused on Trump. That appears to be the entire point of his message here. Obviously the "what about Trump?" message wasn't enough to win this election. Enough voters defected because they didn't like what the party has become. There are plenty of videos out there by the likes of RFK Jr. and Tulsi describing what they see happening in the Democratic Party, and the Democrats dismissed them, leaving them with no choice but to cut ties. Well, enough voters feel the way RFK Jr. and Tulsi do. And it lost them the election.Gern Blansten said:

By the way, I've never voted Republican for President. I voted Democrat through 2020, even though it was with fading passion with Hillary in '16 and especially with Joe in '20. I totally think the DNC wanted Joe as their puppet in '20 and set it up for him to somehow come out as their candidate. They sure as hell didn't want Bernie. So this is who you're quarreling with on here. A Democratic lifer who had finally had enough. And so many people are seeing that this is not the Democratic party... and the "whatabout" shit doesn't do a damn thing. Except lose you an election.1998: 6/26, 6/27, 6/29

The lies they tell to working men and women, especially with programs such as the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), do far more damage than any of the lies uttered by Trump.
But yeah...you all will be using the what about trump crap for the next four years
By the way, I've never voted Republican for President. Except lose you an election.
I think I've been pretty clear in saying that it's because the electorate is ignorant. I don't know how to fix or approach that.
This system of ours leaves us at the mercy of naturally occurring economic influences that one party blames on the other.Post edited by Gern Blansten onRemember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

Yes the Dems should, as should every voter. Trump is an awful human being and has ruined what I thought was the best political party.wnh1977 said:
And there's another "What about Trump?" You're right. Chris Hedges is a dumbass. Maybe this approach will work next time when Trump can't run. Or maybe it's time the Democrats take a long, hard look in the mirror at what they've become?cincybearcat said:
It should have if people weren't so willing to compromise on basic morals. Christians that vote for trump are fake Christians. Don't talk to me about abortion, they voted for a piece of shit human being that is the antithesis of everything they say they believe and care about. And any women or father of a daughter that voted for trump lack morals.wnh1977 said:
"But what about Trump?" "But Trump is bad" "At least she's not Trump" I don't think that platform worked this time. Our path's are almost 100% opposite. I did vote for Obama v1...but then back to Romney for his second term. And now haven't voted for a republican due to trump being the candidate.wnh1977 said:
