Reliable source has them playing “Lovin’ Life Festival” in Charlotte. Could take on deeper meaning with recent events in Asheville. Nothing official yet!

Also, the “residency” is likely Climate Pledge in Seattle — promoters have been chasing them since they committed to doing a residency. Sphere obviously the alternative.
Lovin Life dropped their 2024 lineup on Feb. 23.  Likely be a similar time table this year. Just something to keep in mind.

One of my goals in life is never to set foot in Saskatchewan or Manitoba.  (I spent a summer in medicine hat, AB, so I know I'm not missing anything).  So far I am succeeding.

Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

what a strange goal. Outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba is a gorgeous province. Loads and loads to see and experience.

This is one picture of but one of our thousands of world famous beaches. This one is just an hour north of Winnipeg.

Why haven't they returned to Montreal since 2011?

That show was fantastic. (IIRC - I got housed on Molson's that night as the Mrs, likes to remind me)  :D

Bro!!! Hou drop this 24 hours ago, have been on here as recent as an hour ago and have yet to elaborate???? Let's f'n @Go Animal
    +1
Sorry for the radio silence, but was reaching out to a few peeps to see if they heard anything similar.

Spoke to someone at Ohana who works very closely with Ed, Jeff & Stone in particular:

DM has legs. CBS Sunday Morning drove up PJ site traffic & overall band interest. All the singles have gotten decent airplay, but there's a lot of buzz around WFS. If it does well, we might see more dates. BUT, in the mean time...

a short run in the first half of the year, and a equally short "stint in one place" later in the year.

He didn't confirm SA, but he DID confirm North America. He also didn't elaborate if the residence was Sphere, or Seattle. But he did say "just a handful".

Lastly, the band has an open invite to play Ohana again (every year), but it's up in the air. Everyone was very visibly having a great time (Dancing Stone!)

If not, it'll certainly be Ed (The Last Of Us S2 trailer w/Future Days also put band/Ed interest through the roof over the weekend🤘).

I hope there's more, but I trust at least this much from the source (because when I was walking away, I saw the name he was texting with on his phone. It said "Ed.")
There goes any hope for an european tour , not that i was hoping , they only come to europe every 2 years.

i wish Ed would do a earthling´s european tour though
Disagree, I think there is every chance the band are back next summer. They are promoting their best album (IMO of course) since 1998 and from what I saw had a huge enthusiasm to play the new tracks. There was definitely a spring in their step this year. Dark matter is an incredible record and I see there being plenty of demand over In Europe next year given the mess that we had this summer.

Maybe only a short run of shows but I have high hopes we get something.

But then I've always been the optimist.

I'll be honest - whilst I'd likely go along to the Earthlings shows, I wouldnt at all be excited for them as I still have literally no love for that record at all.
No point arguing with the guy.
He was denying any rumours of this years euro tour literally to the day before the announcement.
Let's just hope this time he's wrong again

sorry, trying to stay on topic, but as a canadian, and big bret fan growing up...I agree with this 100%. As a business owner, you don't allow your champion to leave the company to go to your rival on their terms. Just absurd. Bret got what he deserved.

Medicine Hat is a pretty cool little city, actually. Its the sunshine capital of Canada, over 330 days a year. Great little airport, short drive to Montana and Sask, great quality of life there, low crime. Visited relatives there last summer, then drove to Missoula for the big show👍👍

  • Booked some rooms for Charlotte just in case.  Nothing to lose.

That festival seems like a cluster tho. Unlike Ohana it might be VIP or bust.

Add Oceans Calling to the rumors list! Although this year it was the same weekend as Ohana.

It’s a great festival on my favorite beach and was a blast this year. I saw some Pearl Jam shirts there! 👋🏻

Edit: reading rumors of a second Oceans Calling being added before Memorial Day, with a rumored “classic rock” lineup. So maybe May?

This was the festivals first year, but by all accounts here locally it was well done. The rollout and ticket sales were done in a weird way, but that could’ve been because it was their first go around. It blows my mind PJ may play it, but I’ll take whatever home town show I can get.

uh... when I was college age on a summer internship it was the last place in the world I wanted to be.

Nothing to do, no where easy to get to cheaply, and nothing but wheat fields for miles.  No thank you.

Pretty picture, but you can take a picture like that in a lot of places in Canada.  it's not going to convince me to go to Sask or Manitoba.

I grew up within walking distance of places like this:

St Johns Newfoundland and Labrador Adventurescom

    or

Beaches and Look-outs Logy Bay Middle Cove Outer Cove

    ....

but getting back to the point of this thread:

Pearl Jam isn't playing Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Newfoundland anytime soon.

    Let's all go to Toronto!
