The Ten Club policeman is back! Thanks for the zinger….You got me again.  Your obsession with trying to call people out on the smallest things is uncanny.  I hope that gives you purpose in life.

It gives me purpose in the context of rumor threads when I can recall who repeatedly throws up on their balls. Hope you're right about Tool though.
I’m just sharing rumors from credible sources. Some have happened, others have not. Nothing is 100% confirmed and anything can change but you can’t seem to wrap your little brain around that.
I don't pretend to know your deal but "some have happened" is taking unearned credit
You really get off on nitpicking every word don’t you? Maybe get out of your basement and off the forum for 5 minutes.  You might relax a little.

Everyone likes to pretend they know something, in reality we know nothing.

My money is on no shows in 2025.
Ed said in the Zane Lowe interview they basically have to play some shows every year to pay for the warehouse and staff.  They will play some shows.
Agree. I think that’s what the 2023 shows were for, so I’d say 8-10 shows. Wouldn’t surprise me if half of those were at the sphere.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

I don't know shit, but I suspect short runs of South America and Canada were penciled in. But Ed wants to play the Sphere. We'll see.

I think in this climate where playing shows and selling merch related to those shows  are the only way to make money (no one is making money selling records), we don’t see many full calendar years off any more.

Tool at the Sphere would be the shit, but a month long residency feels like a bit much for them.

Does anybody know if a South America tour in March 2025 is still a possibility? Thanks in advanced.

Following what others have expressed, I would expect a Sphere residency and/or a short 2023 type tour to pay the bills. One wildcard I'd throw out would be the possibility of an EV solo tour. I'm guessing he'll do Saturday night Ohana by himself; would he then also tack on a few dates elsewhere to do a short fall tour?

Sorry for the radio silence, but was reaching out to a few peeps to see if they heard anything similar.

Spoke to someone at Ohana who works very closely with Ed, Jeff & Stone in particular:

DM has legs. CBS Sunday Morning drove up PJ site traffic & overall band interest. All the singles have gotten decent airplay, but there's a lot of buzz around WFS. If it does well, we might see more dates. BUT, in the mean time...

a short run in the first half of the year, and a equally short "stint in one place" later in the year.

He didn't confirm SA, but he DID confirm North America. He also didn't elaborate if the residence was Sphere, or Seattle. But he did say "just a handful".

Lastly, the band has an open invite to play Ohana again (every year), but it's up in the air. Everyone was very visibly having a great time (Dancing Stone!)

If not, it'll certainly be Ed (The Last Of Us S2 trailer w/Future Days also put band/Ed interest through the roof over the weekend🤘).

I hope there's more, but I trust at least this much from the source (because when I was walking away, I saw the name he was texting with on his phone. It said "Ed.")
