Sorry for the radio silence, but was reaching out to a few peeps to see if they heard anything similar.

Spoke to someone at Ohana who works very closely with Ed, Jeff & Stone in particular:

DM has legs. CBS Sunday Morning drove up PJ site traffic & overall band interest. All the singles have gotten decent airplay, but there's a lot of buzz around WFS. If it does well, we might see more dates. BUT, in the mean time...

a short run in the first half of the year, and a equally short "stint in one place" later in the year.

He didn't confirm SA, but he DID confirm North America. He also didn't elaborate if the residence was Sphere, or Seattle. But he did say "just a handful".

Lastly, the band has an open invite to play Ohana again (every year), but it's up in the air. Everyone was very visibly having a great time (Dancing Stone!)

If not, it'll certainly be Ed (The Last Of Us S2 trailer w/Future Days also put band/Ed interest through the roof over the weekend🤘).

I hope there's more, but I trust at least this much from the source (because when I was walking away, I saw the name he was texting with on his phone. It said "Ed.")
There goes any hope for an european tour , not that i was hoping , they only come to europe every 2 years.

i wish Ed would do a earthling´s european tour though
    I still have hope.

I would definitely like a vedder tour though.
Would be 6 years since the last one

My guess is that short run could be Europe or Canada. Though could be anywhere

Good to have some info. I think it was at Ohana last year when the first rumours emerged of the two US and one Euro leg in 2024, and similarly from someone’s discussion with a person close to the band.

I’ll be curious to see if the short run in the first half of the year will be SA or NA. I would’ve assumed SA since they haven’t played there in years (and also would’ve assumed they wouldn’t completely skip SA on the DM tour), but I could also see them doing a short run in Canada, the Great Lakes region, or the south. I would be shocked if the short residency in the second half of the year is anywhere other than the sphere or climate pledge. The gorge would be my dream though.

Awesome thanks!  I’m thinking a short split Canada/US run?

I do wonder what your source thinks a “short run” is?  Is the now typical 10-12 show legs a “short run” in his mind or is a “short run” a REALLY short leg of like 6-8 shows like 2023?

Either way some shows are way better than no shows!

    Exactly,  I'll take it!
  • Great information. Thanks.

I would think that a handful of shows means between 5 and 8. A split between Canada and the US would make sense here, and so I guess Toronto will get two shows and the remaining ones are split among cities around the great lakes and the east coast?  Detroit, somewhere in SC, Atlanta, etc?

Yea, this definitely could work out with some Canada shows and some US shows in the spring. @shep keeps stating Toronto in April as well
  • Anything in Canada and:or the U S of A works for me.  Especially if they want to do something about in the Pittsburgh-Cleveland-Buffalo-Detroit-Toronto region.  That would be a dream.

I have absolutely no source what-so-ever, but Toronto in the Spring is going to happen.  I feel it in my bones.

Plus I'm looking for an excuse for another family vacation to go visit my nephews :).

If there is a 2025 NA tour of any size, there is no way toronto doesn't get a pair of shows.  it is the only major city left that hasn't had a show (obviously we will continue to ignore the 7+ million people in Houston... and i reject the notion of dallas, because if there is one place in the planet worse than houston, it's dallas).... i mean, unless they play to go to Mexico City.  which, admittedly, would be pretty cool.  I'd consider it.
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

Reliable source has them playing “Lovin’ Life Festival” in Charlotte. Could take on deeper meaning with recent events in Asheville. Nothing official yet!

Also, the “residency” is likely Climate Pledge in Seattle — promoters have been chasing them since they committed to doing a residency. Sphere obviously the alternative.

    Thank you @Go Animal!

Love to hear this info as it lines up with my PJ35 / Pearl Jam Week wishes.

The Gorge and Philly are my biggest hopes!
And while there won't by a full Europe tour, I'm thinkin / hoping that London would get a show.

Thanks for the info regarding the Charlotte fest.

I’ve already got plans the last weekend in April and the first weekend of May

Ugh Do I wish they would get on board with these other bands announcing things 1 year + out

    Also…
Looks like Lovin Life didn’t announce their lineup until February for a May festival

We could be in for another 2 month heads up for a spring USA run

Disagree, I think there is every chance the band are back next summer. They are promoting their best album (IMO of course) since 1998 and from what I saw had a huge enthusiasm to play the new tracks. There was definitely a spring in their step this year. Dark matter is an incredible record and I see there being plenty of demand over In Europe next year given the mess that we had this summer.

Maybe only a short run of shows but I have high hopes we get something.

But then I've always been the optimist.

I'll be honest - whilst I'd likely go along to the Earthlings shows, I wouldnt at all be excited for them as I still have literally no love for that record at all.

I'll gladly take Charlotte!  Hopefully that means Atlanta and a few others in the southeast too.
