The whole purpose of Ohana is raising awareness of and support for an explicitly political project0

When I’m feeling that way, I find someplace I can be alone, draw the curtains, light some candles, make myself a cup of tea, and start a thread titled “no politics please” on an internet message board.0

I heard Eddie has the concepts of a plan. He might share those this weekend. Be prepared.0

Heard rumours there will be a goateed gentleman named Teddie Vedder coming out with some opposing views.

They’ve always been vocal about issues, if you don't like it don't go to their shows.

Politics is blasted at us daily, this weekend should be a nice break from it. To those of you who will give me the standard "Pearl Jam has always been vocal about issues, if you don't like it don't go to their shows" - that is a ridiculous statement so don't bother posting. I have been listening to PJ longer than you have been alive.
"Oh look, another republican Pearl Jam fan... see, they do exist!"0 -
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.0

Travelled over the atlantic. If I don’t get ”go vote” spreeches and Trump digs I could have stayed waiting for the next european tour

Have fun and enjoy the place.0 -
Do your best to focus on the music if it bothers you. That is the focal point of a PJ show anyway.I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

you're=you are
your=showing ownership
The truth has a well known liberal bias.

The reel to reel bootleg of that 1969 show was fucking sick.
Thanks to SS for sharing that.
Where would we be without fans who've been listening to Pearl Jam since before we were alive.The love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
You have the right to free speech
As long as you're not
Dumb enough to actually try it

Going to public spaces and not being affected by the current sociopolitical climate and a recent very unpopular decision that was made by the Supreme Court is unfortunately a privilege less and less people have these days.
Women having bodily autonomy shouldn’t be “political”. Reasonable gun control laws to keep our kids safe shouldn’t be “political”. They’re really not saying anything that isn’t totally agreeable for anyone with a shred of empathy. Just spreading love and community.0 -
I wore my WE AREN'T GOING BACK hat... so did you see me OP and did it bother you? Oh yeah..I also had a pin from the Planned Parenthood booth? Hope that irritated you too, OP0
