I saw some of my FB "friends" posting about boycotting the Olympics due to the supposed diss of the last supper.
I mean really? Whatever committee was responsible for that piece means you won't watch the USA participate? Fuck off.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

It WAS NOT the last supper. It was Dionysius. The Greek god of wine and fertility or celebration. They were paying homage to the Greeks here but yeah, f the Olympics, lol!Gern Blansten said:I saw some of my FB "friends" posting about boycotting the Olympics due to the supposed diss of the last supper.

Gorija playing the opener, being a metal band.... Awesome!
This was what they were interpreting. A 17th century painting by Biljert.

Don't try to confuse people with the facts, their minds are already made up. The longer I am alive the more this seems to be true.0

I am afraid we crossed that bridge a while back. Critical thinking is in critical condition for a big chunk of the world, it is sad and frustrating.tempo_n_groove said:Gern Blansten said:

I will admit we are a knee jerk reactionary society now. Everything is done in a split second of a tweet and having to break the story first. I would not have thought this as mockery of Christianity though. It had to go through dress rehearsals and committees. You think they'd want to piss off that many people, lol?JeBurkhardt said:tempo_n_groove said:Gern Blansten said:

Lets go to the review booth on this one …

The circle above her head has been used for centuries to show sainthood. And the group of people involved have a long history of insulting Christianity.
These are not dumb people. So they bring a blue guy with his balls hanging out so they can claim it was something COMPLETELY different and your are an idiot if you think otherwise.
Unity!
Just because someone tells a lie to cover their butt and it gets re-tweet doesn’t make it true.
