My guess is they will just use the middle section. The side sections won't fit.

That pit is going to be great. We lucked out and got pit tix from 10c
Yeah, could be the case. Use the middle section for the video collages and the two side screens in the pavilion (and three screens in the lawn) for video of the band. I actually wouldn't mind that kind of setup.
I'm super stoked! I'm in Sec A, about four rows from the pit, and close to Sec B. Was debating whether to offer a Pit/Reserved trade but having a seat allows for easier ingress/egress.

yeah those will be great seats....I usually hang out in the back of GA so hopefully we aren't too packed in

if you haven't been to that venue in awhile they have greatly improved the restrooms...no more waiting in lines
I did my annual DMB DC weekend a few weeks ago. Normally I'm in the PIT (and hang out in the back like you), but spent both nights with friends in the lawn...so I never made it down to the pavilion-area restrooms, vendors, etc. They have such a great setup at the back of the amphitheater that there was no need.
I've been to a ton of amphitheaters across the U.S. and don't think any of them have the setup that DC has behind the lawn (food/drinks/restrooms/merch). It's one the best, if the THE best, amphitheaters in the country IMHO. I'm local so I may be a little biased lol
I agree...they really did some great improvements and that area behind the lawn was much needed. It took a lot of the restroom traffic away from the areas off to the sides.

I just went to a show in Cincy at Riverbend. God awful outdoor venue. The pavilion sections are not labeled and you have to walk all the way around the edges to get concessions
Felt the exact same way about Riverbend! What a mess. And getting out was horrible. Luckily we could kill time at the casino next door once we finally got in

I second that my PJ friend! I've been listening to DM non-stop since its release (sometimes in background at work and sometimes just chilling at home with the volume at 11), and it's turning into my favorite song. I just watched the Rogers Arena live version again today and have my fingers/toes crossed that we get GTG at Deer Creek. Not sure why it's not been given much love this tour...but hopefully we can wish it into reality.

Yeah, when I lived in Dayton, Riverbend was my "home venue" and it was the worst. The lawn is really astroturf (not sure if that's a good/bad thing), very few vendor options, and the pavilion roof slopes upwards as you get closer to the stage, so good luck getting any kind of vantage point of the stage if you're in the lawn (but you've got two tiny screens to help I guess). And yes, getting out of there was god awful. I guess every amphitheater has it's positives/negatives, but Riverbend sucks. Oh, and if there's huge rainstorm, the pavilion is pretty much underwater. Sorry for the rant...forgot how bad Riverbend sucked balls and how happy that Deer Creek is back as my home venue.

I'm curious what the Pumpkins would sound like these days (but not curious enough to find a youtube video).  When you say "bad," what are we talking about?
Saw them last August.  They were fine. Played a mix of old and new.  I’m no fanboy of theirs, but they do still rock pretty good.  That being said, we were there to see STP who went on earlier, so we left about 18 songs into their 23 song set.

I grew up in Greenville, OH but moved in the late 80s. That was my first time at Riverbend...I guess I usually hit the arena or that smaller music venue by the football stadium.

I was really amazed at how they let people accumulate outside the pavilion on the sides. Any other venue would have drink carts there selling beer, etc. It was just packed with people and no one could see much of anything. I will say that it didn't sound too bad over there.

But yeah...really odd looking lawn. Not as deep as Deer Creek and not as sloped.

Can someone with familiarity with the venue answer a question for me? My wife is recovering from foot surgery and is on a knee scooter. We have tickets on the aisle in sec G. Do the aisles between the sections have stairs or a smooth floor going down to the rows of seats? I am concerned with her getting to the seats on her knee scooter. Thanks.

Just getting caught up here. Is F2F open for Ruoff or is the refund window still open? Saw some speculation about them opening F2F 30 days out from the show. Anyone know for sure?

There’s been a handful of regular priced tickets pop up, but they disappear pretty quickly usually. Although a few weeks ago there was a pair of lawn on there for a few days.

probably only about three steps to deal with from the aisle to the section and you're good. The same three steps front or back of the section
