    There is a real ass-kicking flu strain going around, right now. Takes about a week or more to get better if you take Cold-Eeze at first symptoms. They could also have Covid. Such a bummer for everyone involved.

They know that they also carry a responsibility towards their fans. And Ed should just fucking stop drinking and smoking (we know that it has an effect on people's immune systems).

    Most likely they should be fine for Barcelona, so everyone going there hopefully will have a blast.

     
    Springsteen cancelled a ton last year and a few this year.  Neil Young just cancelled the rest of his tour.  It sucks for all involved but people get sick.  And touring can be hard.  Just pray everyone gets better and the tour can continue

    I think the negativity is accepted in this scenario. We all want everyone to be healthy of course that is the most important, but it’s hard not to be crushed in these cases.  Seattle was the furthest I’d ever traveled to see the band and when reports of Ed having some issues in Vegas came out I started to get really nervous about this type of thing.  It’s a lot of money to travel these days, I probably had 3 grand invested in it and everything’s not always refundable.  Sure you can still explore the city but it’s tough to lose the main reason you are going in the first place.  This sucks for everyone involved and I know the band knows this.  Hope they all get better.

    Last time they postponed shows for years, people got mad that the new dates weren’t being booked fast enough so it’s just easier to cancel

    Theres no postponement for 2025 because there’s a good chance Europe won’t get PJ again until 2027/2028 based on how the band is operating now

    Postponed indefinitely, then people start getting rightfully agitated about their money being held and not knowing when a gig will occur. 2025, they might not want to commit to a tour then and have other ideas.

    Sorry to everyone that booked travel and bought tickets. That is money down the drain and that stinks. They (or Ed) must not be healthy, and it could be members of the crew as well. I caught a bad cold/virus in May, needed a week of antibiotics to clear it out, and I did not feel 100% for a good ten days.
