At this point a residency makes a whole lot of sense for fans that w have to travel to see shows!

All this residency in the Sphere talk is getting really boring. Did we forget that for that to work it needs a MINDBLOWING visual set-up? The Gigaton visualizer videos were quite nice, but honestly nothing to write home about. The Dark Matter visualizer videos on the contrary were like those winamp windows screensavers. Grating to watch.

Also U2's music has some kind of grandeur about it. What should Pearl Jam present that doesn't become boring by day 3? They already shoehorn Do the Evolution in each set just to show of their only cool music video on this year's touring screen..

Plus given Ed's health in recent years and Vegas' harsh environment it would be a disaster.

The guys don't need any visualization. Simply a stage made of wood. Their equipment. Done.

If it's about wishing for something, then bring it on in 2025.

When it comes to being realistic, they will definitely not return to Europe in 2025. After the pre-sale drama and the way this tour has already gone again, I fear they will stay away from Europe for a long time. Even though I don't want to wait that long, my gut feeling is that they will stay away from Europe for four years, as they did between 2014 and 2018.
Yes some wishful thinking on my part.

Know it’s slightly unrealistic but I’m hoping the band realises they have a lot of disappointed fans over her in England, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Austria after the last couple of tours. They could definitely make it work if they booked arenas like they used to (not stadiums!) and give us plenty of notice by announcing late 2024 (eg Could go to O2, Co-Op again, Ziggo Dome etc). Plus arrange to be a headliner at some of their usual festival spots like Werchter etc. I know it’s on the less likely side but I am hoping

Think the opposite at this point. The controlled environment and less stressful schedule of a residency is probably a bonus, both for the band and for fans travelling/less likely to see a cancellation. They don't have to live there withering away in the dry air committing sin, they can fly in for a two night show every other week etc... I say two night show, cause if you travel to see PJ, it's gotta be more than one show, a two show(back to back nights or night off in between) one ticket experience would be ideal. Having said this, would I be excited for the sphere, probably not, Ill take side stage or ga at an arena with no backstage screen anyday over it, but kinda think this is where it's headed.

PJ has lost me and other 10C members. I am not prepared to pay again 42 Dollars to get nothing or the possibility to buy an overpriced ticket for a show which will be cancelled. Enough is Enough!!
  • Anytime they tour I’ll bite the bullet and take the risk because I’ve only seen them five times and know time is limited.
However, I’m not expecting the chance to see them next year. Can’t see Europe getting another run in ‘25

i think it will. Where else are they supposed to go? South America is out of question (sorry Latinas y Latinos) with these prices. Will be unaffordable for most.
So you have Canada with perhaps 4 to 5 shows and the US. Leaves at least the summer or second half of the year for a European stint. Plus, there are many countries with large amount of fans who missed out for a while. Italy, Poland, the Netherlands, e.g.

I fully expect them to tour SA again. They'll play a few festivals down there to make $$, and costs of touring/putting on a show are different in different regions of the world, which can impact ticket prices. Paul McCartney wasn't a cheap ticket in the US last tour, yet he is going there later this year.

    Funny.
How about just tour like a regular band.

Some of you remember when X opened for Pearl Jam.

Well, it turns out that X is about to wrap up their career.

IF Pearl Jam tours in 2025, they'll probably need an opening band.

I remember they got NO love from Amsterdam. That was a bit embarrassing.
Arnhem 2006, Nijmegen 2007, Rotterdam 2009, Nijmegen 2010, Werchter 2010, Amsterdam II 2012, Amsterdam I 2014, Amsterdam II 2017 (Ed Solo), Amsterdam I 2018, Amsterdam II 2018, Amsterdam I 2022, Amsterdam II 2022, Berlin I 2024, Berlin II 2024 and... was on the quest list of Vera Groningen 1996.. but went to my girlfriends father's birthday instead, damned!

I’m both sad and psyched about this tour. They have a new album (love the last album) and they are coming to Atlanta! I have to make the show because this will be my last chance to see them!

Because we know Pearl Jam won't be playing Atlanta. (Ha?)

With that said, Ohio seems gung-ho on a bathroom bill. (Not posted for the politics, but we know Pearl Jam loves playing places with such bills, right? Sarcasm.)

Dude!!!! Salt in the wound!! It’s time for a proper Atlanta show. 4 nights at the fabulous fox theater! Who’s in for that????? Would be much better than State Farm or whatever it’s called these days and helluva lot better than a show at Lakewood. Am I right??? Yeah we’ve got Gov. Shotgun Scewball but we are the reason the D’s have control over the Senate. Look past some politics to reward us - please for the love of gawd man, come back to Atlanta.

ive been vocal for an atlanta show for at least 4 years.  at this point, if it happens it happens and will be a nice surprise, if not, my expectations are well in check. they clearly do not like atlanta/georgia. its obvious at this point
