Would love it if MSG dates for the future fell in the end of August rather than the beginning of September (like this year). Being in the kids 6 weeks holiday in the UK would be brill.

I don't believe they've done MSG in back to back years, but I could see them stopping by Brooklyn if they tour NE next year.

If they announced slane Castle as only Ireland/UK show. With good support playing, they could fill it. Amazing venue.
This is my hope for Pearl Jam Week 2025.  Slane Castle and also Hyde Park.  3 nights (1 day break in between).  30+ song setlists (with enough intermission breaks to make the longer sets possible)

I included the link, but a hope / request that the band does PJ20 type shows, with longer setlists, rare songs.  A few cities per continent is the hope.

This statement threw me for a complete loop lol.  And as you are an expert, can you please clarify what you mean in relation to the request that the band does Pearl Jam Week shows in the future?  I think the "harmless" part has me the most confused, because I imagine the 99% of the things we fans post in this forum are "harmless".

It's harmless as in no one's getting hurt by it. I've made several threads gaming out small PJ tours across the U.S. But they were also thinly veiled pitches to the band to visit said cities I included😅

I don't do it anymore because people started taking it for gospel, despite the fact that I made it very clear that I was just spitballing & fan booking.

I also used to make threads based on circulated rumors, and even got the May '22 LA shows right! But things change so much (and again, rumor was taken as gospel) that I stopped making them.

No offense was meant, so by all means, keep on pitchin'.

P.S. I'll give ya 90%. 10% of the stuff that gets on the board is trash, or comes from trash fans 😇

Got it, thank you for the explanation.  I also had never heard of the term "fan booking", but now I understand.

I view it as requesting / manifesting, but I can understand that some would glaze over the details and assume it to be real.

But I will keep trying to manifest the Pearl Jam Week idea, because I think the bigger setlists, rare gem songs, and celebratory vibes would be great for us hardcore fans, and very worth it for us to travel to these limited locations.

Yes, 90% does seem closer to reality.  I'm relatively new here and probably missed out on some things.  99% was wishful thinking

Some fans act so entitled, it’s frustrating. 99.9999% of European fans would love to see the band back next year, including me! I know so many fans who were only going to London and/or Berlin, and who were gutted to miss out. I was lucky catching them in Barcelona and their return cannot come soon enough

WAY too soon to be thinking about 2025. Just saying. Have at it though. =)  My two cents is that the "tours" are based on the festivals. Track festival announcements and then other dates will follow. Hope they come to your area soon as they are in mine this September 2024.

Yes, it is too soon. That is social media content. Hoping to return means nothing. They (probably management) may be mulling over offers from festivals all over the world for 2025. Once they pick a festival (or two, maybe three), then other dates will follow. If they pick a festival in the UK or Germany then people will complain they should have a more intimate 10C only show. It is all so predictable.

For better or worse, I have been following this band for a long time (yes, I am old). They have mentioned make-up gigs in the past to no avail. I do not pretend to know the UK or German festival market. Just saying, nothing is real with this band until it is. But by all means, if you have any real information, please share. It is fun to conjecture and try to guess. Have at it.

Like Matt said… it’s likely happening.

The venue is amazing. But I feel like for Pearl Jam to lean into what makes the venue great - the visuals - it actually detracts from what makes Pearl Jam great - a spontaneous and ever changing setlist.  As a novelty one of one show it would probably be pretty cool.  But a residency with a setlist that is static and needs to conform to a sophisticated video show is not how I prefer to consume my Pearl Jam.  Doesn’t mean others won’t love it and I’m sure it will sell out every show. Just not for me.  Which is fine.

The thread title really should be renamed to 2025 Tour "Hope" Thread.  Over the past 13+ pages, there has only been one rumor and that was for the Las Vegas Sphere.

After the $$$$ success of Dead & Co., every major act is rumored to play there. I really hope PJ skips that temptation.
Like Matt said… it’s likely happening.

Yeah, I'm not sure what they have cooked up for the visuals, but the current stuff on YouTube won't cut it. And they've already played the DTE card, so I'm hoping it would be something on par to what Dead & Co. did.
Hardcore fans would riot (as they are now, lol) if it was a static setlist, but I think a few album shows mixed with hits & rarities would suffice. Put me down for Vs., Vitalogy, Yield & Gigaton :D (and sure, Ten, why not) ;)

Exactly. I want to see the band. Not an Imax movie where Pearl Jam plays the soundtrack.
