I bet they already have a road map of the next couple of years with tours. If they are knowingly coming back to Europe they would have postponed the shows like they did with Indy. Sure Jeff said something along the lines of hoping to comeback next year but I just can’t see Europe 2 years in a row especially with the sales they had.

    Maybe I am wrong….
The wierd this is that you'd probably rather they didn't tour next year just to be right.
Didn’t you just see the band live in Europe? How are you still this negative?
On the contrary I'm very excited/optimistic about the possibility of getting my london and Berlin shows next year.
Apparently it's not gonna happen though.
This is not about you. Stop taking things so personal here. If the shows happen in Europe next year I am happy for you guys and will try and make it over for a few shows!

That said this is the rumour thread. At this point in the thread nothing is booked. There aren’t even any rumours of dates and cities for any shows out there yet. All we have is the Sphere, SA, and Jeff’s comments about hoping Europe happens. Thats it. It’s all speculation at this point. Welcome to the rumour thread and enjoy the grind looking for info until someone with some actual sources comes in here and blows our minds.

Maybe take a step back until then. It is going to be awhile.

I was pointing out that I'm not actually being negative when it comes to the tour.
You made a comment that apparently it’s not going to happen like I have some magic crystal ball and know what’s happening next year.

    Again

It’s all speculation at this point

    It’s not personal

Maybe stay out of the thread until there is more than speculation if you can’t handle someone posting they don’t think euro shows are happening next year.

Or stay in it and act like it’s a personal attack on you if someone thinks Europe is not getting back to back years.

    Have fun!
Maybe stay out of a rumour thread if your just gonna say you don't see it happening

Where else are we supposed to talk about this.

And it's you that can't seem to handle someone thinking differently to you.
You seem new here. Welcome to the rumour thread when there are not any rumours.
    exactly!

Do a couple to warm up for the Sphere shows if they are happening.

Hollywood Bowl is the only one large enough.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

    3 nights, 10c only.

No TM, no Premium (they can auction off a dozen or so for a quick $25-30k), direct with Red Rocks box office. $149, $199 & $249 a pop.

This would be legendary. And it would sell out in a heartbeat.

WAY too soon to be thinking about 2025. Just saying. Have at it though. =)  My two cents is that the "tours" are based on the festivals. Track festival announcements and then other dates will follow. Hope they come to your area soon as they are in mine this September 2024.
It's not to soon when jeff mentioned london and Berlin for next year.
    Everything else Is guesswork
Yes, it is too soon. That is social media content. Hoping to return means nothing. They (probably management) may be mulling over offers from festivals all over the world for 2025. Once they pick a festival (or two, maybe three), then other dates will follow. If they pick a festival in the UK or Germany then people will complain they should have a more intimate 10C only show. It is all so predictable.
When do they ever play festivals in the uk or Germany?

Hey everyone let's just close this thread.
We're obviously wasting our time here.

    Get_right has spoken
This cynical shit makes you really horny, doesn't it?
You read that whole conversation and deducted that I was the cynical one?
Yep. Because it repeats itself over and over again in the same way. Someone doesn't share your opinion or has doubts. What follows is this "he has spoken" and "close the topic" nonsense.
Pretty sure I said close the thread just once on one thread 🤷
But believe what ever nonsense you like

Didn't expect any other reaction. You cherry-pick a single part that suits you best, interpret it literally and meticulously in order to portray your counterpart as an idiot, and to let any criticism bounce off you.

I countered on the only point you made.
    Hardly cherry picking is it.

Taking the question at face value, festivals in the UK I know they have played because I went to them -

    Finsbury Park - 1993
    Reading and Leeds - 2006
Hard Rock Calling - Hyde Park - 2010
Isle of Wight Festival - 2012
British Summer Time - Hyde Park - 2022
Hyde park was more of a headline show. None of the big festivals are hiring pearl jam
Hyde park is absolutely not a headline show. It's a multi-stage all day festival. It's even more of a festival than their recent NOS Alive booking.
Strongly disagree. Yes it’s an all day festival but I would still call it a headline show.
Disagree all you want, it doesn't make you correct. With festival shows the band is the guest of the festival and needs to work within the existing arrangements for the festival. Headline shows the band has more control over the arrangements.

Both BST own website and social media pages and the PJ press release announcing the Hyde Park shows refer to the event as a festival.

  the usual forum noise mostly.
A lot if hoping.  One actual rumor: The Sphere.
Some realization:  Pearl Jam Week 2025 sounds like an amazing option.  Less cities but amazing venues and 30+ song setlists.  The Gorge, Redrocks, Slane Castle, and Hyde Park?!  Yes please.
    I'm spinning, oh-oh-oh I'm spinning

If they play Slane Castle it would be unreal.

I would trade an iconic venue for a bounty of US tour dates during the summer.

Would love a return to Europe to make up for the lost shows. Think the O2 works best for London, add a second night if sales are strong for the first.
Would then make sense to throw a few more cities in along with Berlin.

The band don’t owe us anything but personally cant help but feel like they want to make it up particularly as it was the third Euro tour in a row with cancellations.

    🙏🏻

Jeff said on Insta that he hoped they’d be back in London and Berlin next year, so I’d say that’s more likely than not. 6 or 7 euro shows to make the numbers work for going over at all, and 6 or 7 US shows to keep the office open.

One guy who seems destined for the sphere is Billy Joel.  Same owner as MSG and he apparently likes residencies.

I don't think he'd have written it down in public unless there was at least a tentative plan. It's not his first day :)

As far as the Sphere goes - no rumors, just information to digest:

    1) Ed visited the sphere twice during the U2 residency.

    2) At LV1, Ed polled the audience as to how many travelled to the show, and how many were locals. After the crowd responded, he looked toward somebody in the wings off to the side of the stage and said something to the effect of ’See, about 50-50. About half travelled for the show.’ Then he confirmed the band heard him by looking around the stage.

    3) Later in the evening of LV1, Ed made a quick comment about being back next year.

    4) The big screen behind the stage sure was Sphere-esque, the way they used it.

    Pay attention to this guy.

I for one is putting a little bit more weight to the X post because it's Jeff's post. I can't see why a short make up tour in Europe next year would be so out of the question?
    All their tours are short.
