I don’t think anyone’s to blame for the cancellation but it’s definitely a bummer. When the news first broke, I felt quite stoic about it but now I’m really sulking like a child 😂. My wife’s got Sugababes on from Glastonbury and it’s not helping my mood at all.

    Haha sure.
Canceling a show with poor sales due to illness leads to better sales for consecutive shows. Plus throwing away merchandise income for all that sounds like a big brain business move.

    Hey guys,
Listen in to one of the best German rock/punk bands. They are called Beatsteaks
A radio station is broadcasting their show without region lock.
Maybe this can help you cheer up.

Wow, I saw Beatsteaks over 20 years ago supporting A in London, but can’t remember a thing about them (just recognised the name)

So we'll be in London tomorrow night. Any recommendations on a pub as an alternative to the show or do fans go out somewhere? Our hotel is near Liverpool Street station (city-shoreditch), given the direct train to the stadium.

I’d go see Green Day if in London.  Or try to see Coldplay at Glastonbury but that might not be possible.

Just managed to get 2 standing green day tickets for 89 quid each as already got non refundable travel and hotel. An OK consolation I guess, absolutely gutted though
Except you have to listen to Green Day…….

Same here. Think they are the first German band I fell in love with. So much energy on stage, great crowd interaction and a dope sound. Gonna see them twice on their current tour.

The new Green Day record is a hell of a lot better than the new Pearl Jam record.

Horse for courses. For me the new PJ is my favourite album of the last decade. The new Green Day is mediocre.

People who have to turn going to a concert with Green Day when Pearl Jam has cancelled into a pointless ”Pearl Jam vs Green Day” thing
