I was at the Dublin show and am now back in the states and getting my ass kicked by Covid. It’s been spiking. Wonder if that’s in play at all.0

What scheduling commitments could there be?
How is it not possible to add shows after the festivals? I mean their next shows are later in August.
So many people already banging on about the venue being half sold and they havent rebooked it to save face.....perhaps the 02 arena is fully booked as an alternative. who knows0 -
Literally done now - that’s my fourth cancellation. And given the extortionate ticket prices it’s just too much now. And to not even reschedule …0

WTF? 4h before my flight... Jesus...0

Expected after Manchester. Very sad for those who have travelled.0

Scheduling commitments is a tough excuse to swallow when 30,000 people scheduled their time to be at your show.0

They are playing a football stadium. The first game of the new season is 3 August. The club will want at least 4 weeks clear to get the pitch prepared.
Other venues would be a logistical nightmare as they'd have to cancel all tickets and work out equivalents somewhere else, then deal with all the complaints about that. The secret to a happy ending is knowing when to roll the credits0 -

So sad for the fans and the band. Lose lose. Doesn’t get easier getting old.0

We have so much money tied up in Berlin and Barcelona. Non refundable. Hoping Ed pulls through. Have been at the cancelled London show in 2018 and the 3 cancelled shows in 2022. Will be very hard to take.

Damn, sorry for everyone who was expecting to go. Especially for those who traveled/planned to travel. If I ever plan to travel for a PJ show, it will be when they are at a place I have always wanted to visit anyhow. Guessing there will be many people travelling a lot further0 -
Oh man I'm gutted 😢0

Shortest UK tour.0

Obviously, hope Ed and the band are okay.
Let's be honest. Ed is a 60 year old smoker and drinker. There was always going to be a point where his immune system and his vocal capacity collide. With the repeated cancellations recently, it's probably now. Seems like he can't push through anymore.
It's obviously not "the end", but it might be the end of many fans having the patience and/or finances to risk travelling.
And I say this as someone who has already forked out a couple of grand for the upcoming Australian tour.
I hope I'm wrong.Come to send, not condescend...0 -
