Good one. Again, I admire the musicianship. The sonic attack overwhelms my auditory senses such that heavy metal only works in small doses for me.
 Thanks for posting a favorite!

Well played. I was just about to post No Sleep Til Brooklyn because it was the first 7” single I ever bought.23scidoo said:“Do not postpone happiness”

It's been 30+ years since I've seen this video. This my choice out of thousands. Since I once waited on David Byrne after a show here's.....

Very cool! You can add your story as part of more songs about building and food!

The first hair band I ever saw was Journey (opening for Link Wray at Winterland in 1974) before anyone had ever heard of the band. My first thought was, "Who are these guys, and what's with the beauty salon hairdos and bare chests?

Journey was definitely Mullet worthy, lol. I hated the mullet so bad. Still do. I always thought a dude should never have bangs, lol.brianlux said:tempo_n_groove said:I love the early hair bands and Bon Jovi was good before the Slippery album.

The first thing I say when I go to get a haircut (the last one was 20 months ago) is "What ever you do, NO MULLET!"

This was played on the radio a lot but they never really mentioned the lyrics, just the happy pop music. Maybe it was too 'deep' for daytime radio to deal with back then.
It was a few years later when I really listened to it, and realised the heartbreaking story behind the words. https://youtu.be/VZt7J0iaUD0?si=FR0mQ8zEwslLwJGu https://youtu.be/VZt7J0iaUD0?si=FR0mQ8zEwslLwJGu

Great choice and yes, the story really hits hard. Very sad.

            I'm sure this is someone's favorite 80s song/cover.
For me, this is the song is what I think of when people say awful 80s music amd horrible MTV stuff.
 Anyone love this? https://youtu.be/HasaQvHCv4w?si=Xl76KEw0g2FsExbT https://youtu.be/HasaQvHCv4w?si=Xl76KEw0g2FsExbT
