Modern English - I Melt With You - always reminds me of the 80sAC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long - I had this one on 8-track!I was never a huge fan of either band but but had a couple of hits that I've always like a lot. Couldn't have picked a better song by either of them- great picks!"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0 -
I've never been a huge fan of synth music, but every now and then something comes along that just works for me. Japan was such a band and this is one of my favorites by them from 1982 from the album Tin Drum (dig that cool bass sounds from Mick Karn!)

Best live version I've found. Quintessential Motley Crue, Live Wire. 1987. The peak of their debauchery.

I get tired just thinking about how much energy David Byrne has, lol, or at least he did when I saw Talking Heads in 1982, And what a band! Byrne was on fire. When someone was taking a solo and he wasn't singing of playing, he would literally run circles around the stage. That was one great show!

Clarke was born in the South London community of Croydon on May 14, 1960. A bright and restless youth, she left school at the age of 16, and after taking on a variety of odd jobs she began working at Bonaparte Records, an independent record shop that also released discs through an offshoot label.
