AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long - I had this one on 8-track!
I was never a huge fan of either band but but had a couple of hits that I've always like a lot. Couldn't have picked a better song by either of them- great picks!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
I've never been a huge fan of synth music, but every now and then something comes along that just works for me. Japan was such a band and this is one of my favorites by them from 1982 from the album Tin Drum (dig that cool bass sounds from Mick Karn!)

I get tired just thinking about how much energy David Byrne has, lol, or at least he did when I saw Talking Heads in 1982, And what a band! Byrne was on fire. When someone was taking a solo and he wasn't singing of playing, he would literally run circles around the stage. That was one great show!

A unique figure in British music, Anne Clark is a singer and lyricist
who works in both electronic and acoustic music, performing literate but
emotionally charged songs of contemporary life. Clarke was born in the
South London community of Croydon on May 14, 1960. A bright and restless
youth, she left school at the age of 16, and after taking on a variety
of odd jobs she began working at Bonaparte Records, an independent
record shop that also released discs through an offshoot label.

Again, I'm one of those people who will often say I don't care for synth music, but then something like this will come along that I like a lot, like Gary Numan and Tubeway Army's Replicas LP.This is a bit of a cheat here as it's actually from the late 70s, but I always think Replicas was a bit ahead of its time. My favorite some from that album is this one:
Not a favorite, but pretty good. Back then, if I know they were from San Francisco I probably would have followed them more closely. Not sure how I missed that.

Haha. Dude, Red Hot. I lived the Crue at that time, my absolute favorite band. They are not good live, Vince always trash(ed) Wish I'd seen them on Too Fast touring

My son is in rock band camp this week and Kevin Kinney is coming tomorrow to help with original song writing! Son is very excited.
