That oft musically disparaged decade... oh, but there was great music to be had then. Let's see what you've got.
One of my favorite 80s band is The Bongos, so I'll start with them. So many good songs, but let's go with "In the Congo". That, and a cup of strong coffee can get any morning started right. (And morning starts late here, lol!)

Love a lot of music and film from the 80s. Not necessarily my favorite, but here’s a fun one

Way too tough to answer with only one as favorite.
I'll go with this, for today. (Really thought it was gonna be Screaming For Vengeance....and then Over The Mountain....but not today. Maybe tomorrow.)https://youtu.be/qdlQyNe_9tE?si=EMZB7JDVzhHPgdlE
This version.....fucking 2 mins to start are just awesome. Fires me up every time.

Alright all, more good stuff! Here's a lesser known favorite of mine, originally released on 1988 on the self-title Sister Double Happiness LP. We recently lost the band's singer, Gary Floyd (also of the band Dicks). Gary was a dynamo and as you can see and hear, had a great big marvelous voice. This is a live version from an awards show in San Francisco. R.I.P. Gary Floyd.
