Got my finger wedged between some metal at work. If I didn’t move my hand as fast a I did I think I could have lost a digit or two

Had the surface of 1/2 inch of my lower lip frozen with liquid nitrogen about an hour ago.  Pre-cancer shit.  That was fun.  :frowning:
Nope, sorry, not gonna take a photo.

This morning, I was cooking up a batch of pancakes and flipped one that kind of smacked down in the pan a bit too much and shot a drop of hot oil at my face.  That sizzling little devil hit me right on the edge of my lower right eyelid.  Man oh man, that hurt like an s.o.beeeyeowwwww!  Hours later and it still smarts a bit but hey, counting my lucky star-- at least it didn't get my eyeball proper!

your first mistake was using oil to cook pancakes. WTF, Brian???? :nuh_uh:

I used to use a Teflon pan until I learned about "forever chemicals".  I usually just use a thin film of oil to keep the pancakes from sticking, but this time I got lazy and allowed too much in the pan (I use cast iron).  And they are healthy pancakes!  Here's my recipe:

One part Annie's Organic Pancake mix
One part King Arthur Gluten-Free Pancake mix
One part Bob's Red Mill Cornbread mix
    1/2 part Quick Oats
1/4 part Bob's Red Mil Organic Golden Flaxseed Meal

One egg per person being served
Enough Rice milk to make the batter to desired thickness
    (No added oils)

I do it all be sight.  Been doing this so long I can do it in my sleep.  In fact, I was probably asleep when I put too much oil in the pan and it nailed me!
