How much of a lock do we think this is?
September 12 - Baltimore - CFG Bank Arena
We're flying in the day after for Springsteen at Camden, and I could easily back that trip up a day.
I have a free cancellation room booked for the 11th and 12th based on the intel here. Think it's worth being prepared, just in case.
If we couldn't extend our hotel stay, we know people in Frederick that we could stay with one night.
    98-Birmingham, 00-Nashville, 03-Nashville, 12-Atlanta, 14-Memphis, 16-New Orleans, 18-Amsterdam, Night 1 & 2, 18-Seattle Night 2, 21-New Jersey, 22-Imola, 22-Nashville, 22-Louisville, 24-Baltimore
    Ed Solo: 17-Louisville

February has been mentioned a lot for an announcement. But why go from hopefully before xmas, which didn't happen, skip January all the way to Feb?

There is a reason Europe was not announced along with the festivals like they have every other year. What other reason would there be besides announcing it all together in February?
no reason, first time they have done things this way which sucks :(

i dont think they will announce everything at once in february, 10c system cant handle a full blown world tour lottery.

the feb 13 date is probably for the album announcement and  US tour
I think it’s been pointed out that just because they announce dates all at once, doesn’t mean they or tickets today will run lottery at same time. Announce then stagger the sale dates.
I remember when Bruce Springsteen announced his EU tour a month or so ago they staggered the sale dates...so some were on sale the same Friday the dates were announced, some cities were the following Mon, Tue, and other cities another week ahead of that.
  • From what I've gathered reading other posts, announcing the dates all at once with a singular lottery would theoretically make it a lot more challenging for folks looking to attend multiple shows, particularly in any of the larger cities in the rumored US Leg 2 (NYC, Philly, Chicago, Boston), right?

Fenway and Wrigley are large enough that no one should have issues getting tickets. Whether they're the kind of tickets that will be of acceptable quality are a whole other thing, though.

It’ll happen when it happens I’m good with waiting till then!
The bummer is that if you are going on vacation to some of these places, and want to do tourist activities, some of them fill up a year in advance.

Small problems.   Not Pj’s problem.  Good problems too. I went ahead and gambled and booked some nonrefundable activities (golf rounds) in Australia.   Can’t wait.

Yes, some shows, especially arena shows, would be impossible through ten club as 3rd or lower priority. Announcing all and staggering lotteries will make sense for North American dates.

The February date was the only solid announcement date rumor.  I would have believed Europe would have been earlier and then the US and maybe Aus in February.  Now I’m thinking everything in February.  A lot of people on here don’t want to believe it though hah.

And thus be a benefit to local market fans who would theoretically have their hometown shows as the highest priority

I really have no idea what to expect on ticketing but the bigger the better on the lottery as far as I'm concerned

Its fair to say right now we have the whole year planned what could change are the dates, a day after or before what is said here.

That being said i would love a xmas gift with the european tour announcement but as i said before i can see that happenning in the first week of january
Are we thinking maybe announcement Fri 5th Jan, and on sale the week after? Or it just has to be before 10th?
europe has to be announced in the first 2 weeks of january for sure
Could you please stop being wrong on this thread.
  • I think tour announcement within the first 2 weeks of January. 2/13 for album announcement

Having an edge for local fans seems like a good idea to me.

I might be wrong but to my defense they are changing the way they operate.thats clear as water also its just weird as hell announcing an europea tour so close , february is close.

As someone said here, u book tours in europe with at least 6 months in advance

A little comparison - Blink 182 announced their world tour in October 2022 (with dates all the way up to AUS/NZ in February 2024).

Foo Fighters announced their UK tour in June 2023, which takes place in June 2024.

Taylor Swift EU/UK announced June 2023. Starts in May 2024.

    The list could go on…

Did the last Euro tour feature a fan-to-fan resale system?

Not disagreeing with most bands announcing way earlier for all their shows, but late announcements by PJ became a thing over past decade or so at least for US shows. Honest question, why can’t it be a thing for Euro shows?
