Not sure exactly what’s in it, but tomatoes, peppers, onion, hot cherry pepper, Romano cheese, and a touch of heavy cream. Beyond that I cannot replicate it as she adds pinches of this and that. It needs to simmer for at least 3 hours, but honestly if you put it in the fridge for a day and then reheat it’s 10 times better. It’s great but it’s always even better the next day.

Back and settled from a few days in Charleston. Gonna have a Sunday…

Cheese, jamon, olives…followed by braised lamb shanks over polenta. Oh and this beast who is currently breathing

    💯
(Although Bretty is not the preferred name, lol)
The Dewberry is awesome.  Seriously a top 10 hotel for us.  Upgrade the room. Worth spoiling yourselves.

    Fig was amazing
    Husk was strong
Ate at a bunch of random spots and all were solid
The BBQ place (Rodney scotts) we missed out on but everyone says is bomb

I was there over the summer. We went to Rodney Scott’s. Definitely worth it. I agree the food there is amazing. We did brunch at a really cool place. I can’t remember the name but I will find out and post it here.

We stayed at the vendue. Loved the area. Hotel was cool. We ate at (in an informal ranking)…

    delaneys oyster house
    chasing sage
    167 raw
    FIG
    Magnolias

Heard great things about Husk, Snob, Leon’s, halls chophouse

tons of fun rooftops for cocktails and such. Fun city

Yes on the rooftop cocktails.  Ate our weight in shellfish, as well.
Those pictures from Delaneys looked amazing
