  • In Indy and bummed to hear this cancellation. Only drove a couple hours. Feel for those that flew in and traveled far. To make lemonade out of lemons, anywhere the faithful are gathering to enjoy a few drinks and some PJ stories?

I assume Ruoff is the reason they can't reschedule for next week.   If PJ, then get your asses from Austin to Indy.

Agree with the above. Nothing is official. Though they could throw this show in after Texas, I imagine many travelers and even local fans for that matter may not be able to reschedule their lives to attend on such short notice.
  • wow, they didn't have to do this just for me! (COVID + Friday). Of course what sucks is that I had already sold my lawn tickets yesterday....I'm guessing they are still no longer mine even with the cancellation?

I would also think it would be no small amount of $ to retain the touring crew for a few extra days (if not straight up impossible due to schedules) to swing back up to Indy after TX.

I’ll be surprised if they make this up this year.

My friend drove from Upstate NY to Indy yesterday, super bummed for him and everyone.   Anxiously hoping for FTW 1/2 to go off without a hitch.  Leave Tuesday morning for Texas from NY.  Last 4 PJ tickets purchased- London 2, Hamilton, NYC, Las Vegas- all postponed/cancelled.  Hoping the streak is broken.

  • I'm pretty sure the official line is "postponed until 2024." This has been a weird time in my life personally (my father is ill), so I'm sorta relieved that I can kick this show into next year. I just wasn't feeling it this year and it didn't help that my slightly better than average seniority sat me in the nosebleeds. Hopefully on future tours they'll go back to one or two pairs of tickets per fan club member. Pearl Jam in Indiana is as rare as spotting a three-headed monkey, so with all the out-of-state visitors it screwed over the local TC members who never get to see the band. No offense to my friends here... I get it.

Trying to decide whether or not to cancel my FTW 2 plans or not.....  As I type this from my non refundable room in Noblesville.  Hope whoever is sick gets well soon, but also hoping we can quickly get some clarity on how the last 4 shows are shaping up

I think it has to be. They need time to resell the tickets. I would say a 1/4 of the audience traveled. That’s probably a bit high but not everyone will be able to make the rescheduled date so they can’t say “hey great news show is rescheduled to sept 17”.
  • Crazy.  I got Covid last week and had to cancel my trip from California to visit my daughter in Indy and see my 50th show with her.  I feel so bad for everyone who made it there.  Hoping no one in the band gets too sick.  I've had a rough week dealing with the virus...

Pissed, frustrated and sad about tonight's show.  Was on the way to Indy from Kentucky for a beautiful night and a show I felt was going to be epic, asked my wife to check FB to see if any PJ guys joined the Pumpkins last night, and she saw the announcement.  Such a punch to the gut!!  It was the same horrible feeling as the recent Vegas show.  All the build up, trying to get tickets, making travel plans, etc.  Feel really bad for all the people who flew in, got hotels, etc.

Hoping whomever is sick gets well soon, and that it is nothing serious.  Feel PJ has been cursed recently.  The Stones are in their 80's and seem to tour fine.  This would have been my 21st show, never before wondered if a concert I got tickets for would happen . . . until the past couple of years.  Going to drink a couple of beers and listen to the 9/11/05 Kitchener show I was fortunate to attend.  Hope 2024 brings a long PJ tour -- including made-up dates -- and good health to the band (and us fans).  Peace.

Suuuper bummed — was going to take my twins to their first PJ show tonight (as a hometown show, no less)! Sadly, it’ll have to wait, but this is life and it’s understandable. Glad I got to take my oldest to see his first PJ show in Chicago on Thursday night!

For those stuck in Noblesville/Fishers looking for something to do, here’s a list of some good food options anyway:

    1. I Tre More: literally, the best pizza on the planet. Locally owned and wood-fired pizza from a Sicilian transplant, this place is AMAZING!

    2. India Sizzling: bit of a hole in the wall, but so delicious

    3. Chuy’s: ok, it’s a chain, but it’s still good food and close to the venue

    4. Yats: Cajun creole and close to the venue. Crawfish etouffee and their garlic bread is heaven

    5. Cafe Patachou: love this place for brunch — get the sourdough cinnamon toast

    6. Torchy’s: yes, another chain. But, damn it’s tasty!

    7. Greek’s Pizzeria: smallish dining room in Fishers, but great carry out option

    8. Pizza King: I prefer the Noblesville location to the one in Fishers

    9. Graeter’s ice cream: chain, but simply the best

    10. Handle’s ice cream: not as good as Graeter’s, but still great. Close to the venue.

    11. Chatham Tap: great place to grab a few beers. Soccer pub with decent food

    enjoy!

I wonder if one of the band members has the same illness that Joe Burrow has today.

Sorry to see that....tested positive Friday as well. Cancelled my hotel Friday night and sold tickets yesterday. (would have held out one day longer if hotel had 24 and not 48 hrs policy) Mostly asymptomatic today, but I'm sure I wouldn't be able to enjoy the show to the full extent.

I hope they handle this better than the Euro cancellations last year. They left it so close to doors opening before cancelling each time, there may be a reason for this, but it’s far from helpful from a fan’s point of view.

They did make up the cancelled London show in 2018 but they had four weeks to turn it around. No such luxury this time so it could well be rescheduled for next year.

This does suck for those waiting for the show. I got hit in Europe last year with Amsterdam Night 1 but just know the rescheduled show will be special!
