  • Rouff has confirmed 2024 reschedule, date TBA. Obviously that is just a statement from Rouff. The band ultimately decides.

Man, feel bad for everyone involved, band, fans, venue. The band can’t take a trick with illnesses etc…let’s hope it’s not too serious (honestly I hope it’s not Ed’s voice again) and the remaining shows can go ahead for everyone involved.

  • If this is because someone tested positive for what is now a mild common illness I'll be quite pissed. I could totally see it from these guys. 600miles drive and $200 for a hotel room. No guarantee they will ever make it back.

Yeah, I would hope they aren’t canceling because of Covid.  If so, they should have stayed in the bubble.

Interesting that the statement reads “obviously it’s serious” then go on to say the other scheduled shows are still on. What could be serious but also pass in 3 days?
new album "Cigarettes" out Spring 2025!

When they said “obviously it’s serious” I wasn’t sure whether they meant “obviously the illness is serious” or “obviously we take the decision to postpone a show seriously”.

I’d imagine the latter. Probably not their best choice of wording.

I thought of those as well. I have Crohn’s disease as well. I have been in remission for many years after surgery, but remember getting flare ups. They are not fun but can be controlled with a course of steroids which usually works really fast.

Yeah. Shame on Metallica for rescheduling their gig in AZ last week when James had COVID and they ended up cutting the previous nights show early and James sounding like shit. Just push through it so everyone can say how bad you were! 🙄

We don't know who is sick, we don't know what they have. Speculate away, but none of them care if you don't believe they are sick enough to cancel.

We were 3 hours into our drive there when we found out from a random guy at a gas station. We had tickets to PJ in Prague last summer. So we are on a good run. Maybe these guys are getting too old for this? Well at least we got to spend the day driving around rural Ohio.

Wasn’t suggesting they weren’t sick enough to cancel. We all know how serious this band takes cancellations/postponements. It’s none of my business who is sick or what they have. Just found the wording curious is all. Got me thinking.

The announcement opens up speculation as no details were given. I think the real question is, what is bad today, but TX is still on. People are traveling for those shows very soon too. This news says continue to travel.
  • Just landing in Indy from Seattle.  I’m absolutely heartbroken.
  • My flight is Tuesday morning from Colorado, would love to know whether I'll be heading to Texas for Pearl Jam shows or cancelling flights and air bnbs and eating a bunch of money. I do hope we get an update tomorrow...

Why don’t you guys relax with the Covid commentary. You have no idea what it is and who was effected.

Some of the COVID commentary is weird.

Again, any illness is a bummer, but I really hope it’s not Ed’s voice, especially after the problems of the euro tour last year. I just think that leads to longer term ramifications if it is. Anyway I shouldn’t speculate. Let’s hope for a quick recovery and everyone’s ok.

    Agreed. Sloppy communication.
