Wasn’t release played in LA in addition to NYC in 2022?
Yes, it sure was! Opened with it in LA, I think on Night 2.
Yes, night two.  I was there and it was glorious. ❤️
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.
  • 17th show and it exceeded expectations.  Better than St. Paul 2014 IMO.

Highlights:  Indifference opener.  Black.  I'm Open.  Insignificance.  SOLAT.  Encore was solid top to bottom.  Crowd seemed energized for a Thursday night.  Band was tight and the sound was crisp in the Xcel.  Deep Sea Diver was legit as an opener.

Lowlights:  Buckle Up.  Seven O'Clock.  Both drained the energy right when the crowd seemed ready to explode.

    Ready for St. Paul 2.
    Opener prediction:  Release
Hoping for:  Long Road, Jeremy, Chloe/Crown of Thorns, In My Tree, Hold On, Once

Funny you mention Seven O'Clock because there was someone in GA near me who had a shirt asking for it and got it signed by Jeff. Also agree with you on Dead Sea Diver.

    THAT. WAS. AMAZING.

  • So is the 02 on the left sleeve of the hockey jersey a mistake?      There is a 31 on the right sleeve and a 23 on the back of the sweater... so I thought it would have been 08 on the left sleeve to represent  08/31/23  - date of the show.    Instead it is 02  on the left.   31  on the right and 23 on the back.     Unless it represents something else?   With the 31 on the other sleeve i thought it must be show date related.....

  • During early part of Small Town, Mike pointed at my stickman pride shirt and I pointed back at him. Would love a pic or video if anyone from the rear caught it

Does anyone else miss Release? I realize there was time off for a pandemic thrown in there, but we've only heard it once in the US since 2018.
It is the best opener. It'll be back.
I'm guessing they open with Release for one of the Chicago shows.

SAME!! Although I personally enjoyed Of the Girl as the opener Night 1 in LA 2022 even more...love that guitar riff and Stone is so f'n good with it.  Probably my all time favorite opener, but it doesn't give the goosebumps like Release does.

    You’ll here it in Chicago.
  • The last time I saw Pearl Jam was in Seattle for the Home shows and its been almost 10 years since I've sen them in my home state. I was thrilled to see them again in MN. Why Go was a highlight for me. Outside of Ten staples (Even Flow, Alive, Porch and Black), its one of my favorites to see live.

My friend got two McCready picks. He gave one to me.
