Insanely fun show and great energy all night in the pit (we were directly in front of Jeff, 25 feet back). Band was tight, Ed sounded great and just a very fun tour opener.  Indifference and Black within first 5 songs simply unreal.  Insignificance was on another level.  Great to see some old friends too.  Can’t wait for Sat!!

Great setlist! No Corduroy. Love that song live, but great to see they went for other songs instead. And finally some Insignificance!!

Alright, first PJ show in MN in 9 years and it was great. Loved getting a tour opener show. I last saw them in Ohana '21 and they didn't disappoint. I was hoping for more Gigaton, but was pleasantly surprised by the album variety (and lack of Vitalogy). Hustled to get to the venue at 745 and walked in around 8. Only got to hear a bit of Deep Sea Diver. I liked them. Good sounding band.

My seats were section 113, row 18. Pretty full around me. My ticket buddy is not really a PJ fan, but likes going to concerts so while I sang my ass off, he bobbed his head and had a good time.

Highlights of the night were Indifference to open (!) and an insanely tight Insignificance. It rocked so hard. Sometimes was awesome as well. The tuned down Superblood was the only song I thought sounded sloppy. Ed flubbed a few lyrics on it and it did not sound as good as when I heard it at Ohana. Still enjoyed it. Even Flow and Alive had the whole place rocking. I know they've played them 1000 times, but nothing is better than seeing thousands of people standing and singing along.

Crazy Mary was spectacular with Boom and Mike dominating. Josh's skills were in full effect on Buckle Up with the backing fills. That song is way better live and fits the early set better than Seven O'clock fits mid set. Speaking of which, it sounded great. Too bad half the arena had no interest in hearing it.

Looking at the set list after the fact doesn't do it justice. The show flowed well outside of 7 O'clock breaking the tempo between Why Go and Even Flow. The trio of Given, Mind and Why Go got the place rocking. I was pleasantly surprised how many people were singing along to Mind Your Manners. It still sounds great live 10 years later.

All in all, great show. Probably not as good as their 2014 show in MN, but that's mostly because they played 8 less songs. Loved the studio paced versions over sped up from 9 years ago. Allows the songs to shine more and for Eddie to better land the vocals. He does struggle with the upper register for LBC, but it still sounds good. I just miss those high parts from him.

Excited to hear everything that wasn't played tonight on Saturday.  Gotta be lots of Vitalogy love!
    It's a hopeless situation...
  • That was a great first show of a tour. Insignificance was fucking awesome! LBC needs work but fantastic we finally got some Binaural and Riot Act that hadn’t been played in a while. The place filled up nicely considering how many tickets were available. GA and the lower bowl were rockin.
If they skipped Buckle Up and went into Sometimes (or if they went hard like Animal) that place would have erupted. Indifference was loud. I hate how lately they significantly go from high energy to low. Not the place for Buckle Up, 7 O’clock, or even Crazy Mary. Would have liked something hard after Go.
Overall far exceeded expectations. Eddie on Black was beautiful.

Great show, particularly the beginning and end. I had never been to the venue before, but the sound was amazing and the crowd was really into most of the show (I was near bottom of sec 117).

My favorite moments were GTF - this was my 14th time hearing it, and it was probably the best version I have seen, LBC (the song I most wanted to hear), and maybe even Mind Your Manners (I can’t believe I am typing that). As someone mentioned, the crowd LOVED Mind Your Manners tonight. If you had only the video without any audio you would have thought it was something off of Ten based on the audience reaction. Getting Indifference and Black so early was also great.

Show was really good, but I thought the middle dragged a bit. I like them on the album, but 7 o’clock, Clairvoyants, and Superblood Wolfmoon were lackluster (meanwhile Buckle Up kicked ass).

Ed choked up in the intro to Wildflowers, and the intro also included a lot of people in the pit getting Ed to pause so that security or medical personnel could check on someone in the pit on Mike’s side who must have fallen down during his speech. I went with a friend who had never seen them live, and one of his big takeaways was how likable and down to earth Ed is.

    Can’t wait for Saturday.

Terrific show. This was my first time doing the all night/day thing for GA and I wound up in the first row on Mike's side. Seeing Mike up close with how energetic he is can be incredible.
