It's just a reality that it's extremely difficult to take someone's homeland. History has shown that time and again. It's even worse when you have no base of support in that land, and Russia's influence in the far east with teh separatists has been extinguished.static111 said:

Ukraine will also have to not become part of NATO... if none of this can be agreed upon then over time Russia will take all of Ukraine and the only thing we can do is start WW3 to stop them. i'm guessing most clear thinking people would not want that... so Ukraine would be sacrificed.
IMHO this peace would probably have already been agreed upon without the meddling and weapons from us..
If you think Russia will eventually win, I would point you to Vietnam, Afghanistan circa 1980 and Afghanistan circa 2005 as evidence why that is not a foregone conclusion.0 -

Bush was Iraq, initially. And was necessary following 9/11. Looking back, that was a terrible mistake imo and my heart hurts for all the families of the fallen.... However from 2008-2016, the administration did zero to get out. PLease answer the question, Did Trump enter ANY NEW wars during his term? yes or no. Its a simple question.
