Contacted Ticketmaster regarding Toronto payout. They told me they have to send checks (in Canadian dollars no less) for those who sold tickets to Canadian shows who are US residents. Checks take up to 12 weeks. Just relaying what they told me. (Had entered all pay out and account/tax info as previously prompted.)

Yah, when I was trying to sell my Oakland spares, there wasn't even an option that worked for being Canadian.  I ended up opening a US domiciled bank account, which I can now use to deal with things that will only do business the country where the transaction occurred.  Using the US debit card number I got my Oakland $$ pretty quick after I sold.  I think it was a week or two.

Total pain, with so many of us living close to the US/CAD border, it would be nice if TM could create an option for their portal to just post the credit to your credit card, and let the credit card deal with the FX.

Maybe they don't do it because people cry when they don't get same amount of money back.. lol (ie don't understand how FX and spreads work).

Thanks for the information. I think I sold 5 tickets to three different Canadian shows. Will they automatically send the check. I don’t mind waiting. Or, do I need to contact them and give them additional information. Thanks.

Open a chat with a bot through their website.  Eventually it will be referred to a live agent.  May take a few days but worked for me as a Canadian who sold tickets to Phoenix and TM ended up mailing me a USD cheque.

In your account, on the past events or listings page (I forget which one), there’s a “contact us” tab. Took about 15-16 hours for a person to respond after going back and forth with bot.

I wonder if the Toronto/Hamilton refunds being late has something to do with the F2F lockdown.  Maybe had internal system failure.

Curious, if your sold both around the date of the show?
