    With a much larger percentage of the rescheduled shows being after the Europe tour, they will give us sufficient notice to make travel plans.

    Isnt Painted Shield playing Ohana this year? I wonder if Painted Shield dates are being worked on, and that is causing some delay.

    Long story short, traveling for Tool this spring and cutting back on potential PJ shows (if they even happen!!!) seemed like a no brainer for me.
    Had PJ announced dates sooner, my wife probably would have got on board with traveling for them, but that ship sailed once Tool announced their tour.

    So while I don't actively plan on boycotting PJ, I'm not sitting around waiting for them, and will be seeing them less than in years past as a result. 
    Saw Tool at Barclays in 19 and UBS a few weeks ago. Phenomenal. They're just absolutely crushing their live shows and Maynard was actually pretty engaged. The old hits were a treat but their new songs are just made for live; they freaking nailed that. Have fun! Jealous.

    As for PJ taking a step back tho, I want to see them as much as humanly, and economically feasible, as possible. They're not getting any younger so we gotta enjoy it while it lasts. I think the Earthlings show was great but just made it that much more obvious that full band is special. I still have tickets to two LA shows so this will come down to dates for me. If I can swing a long weekend I'll travel out there but I likely can't do two weekday shows. Easier in the Fall but still.

    For the general public not using the forum/facebook groups, I think there are going to be even more annoyed ticket holders than they have now once they find this out.

    pearljamonline.it announced it 3 days ago on their twitter feed. I cant seem to find any confirmation of that though.

    With Sea.Hear.Now announced today I can assume it means that the festival is in May….

    oh wait….it’s in sept? That more than 60 days notice…wow who would have thought something like this was possible?
