Sorry for you guys that fought furiously on F2F to get those Baltimore tickets. Watching the triumphs and close calls was pretty exciting stuff. Hopefully they can take care of you somehow with a different venue or something else to make sure you get a show.
Thinking of @Saltzy23 - moment of silence for those who fought hard during the F2F battle.

    The dream is dead.

On the positive side to this, the refund pays for my (or anyone else who has/is attending EV shows) ticket and leaves $10 left over for beer. Not really a consolation prize, but i'll spin it that way.

    You mean half a beer.

Just add a local date near Bmore as a replacement and give Bmore ticket holders first grabs at seats.  (DC, Eaglebank at George Mason, Merriweather in MD or Philly)  None of these are Baltimore but I would still go.
Something like this is probably what they have in mind, so the fact that all they’ll say now is “we hope we can figure something out” can be read to mean that there are currently no plans to add any more US legs any time soon. I take this to be an indication that we’re going to see all of the spring 2020 dates rescheduled for May/early June, and nothing for the fall.

    Bring on the Fenway announcement.
!! Still recovering from my Carpal Tunnel surgery after the F2F for the Baltimore show. Definitely a bummer, but I’ll take a Fenway announcement any day now!

Baltimore is the only show we had tickets for.. and finding out thru a link on this forum, not directly from the band (either by email, social media, etc), is what's most frustrating.

Totally understandable to need to reschedule or cancel, but I'd rather hear it straight from the source.

Also, the wording, "[..] hope to be able to take care of fans impacted by this cancellation in the future." is very specific to not promise ANYTHING for sure.. I don't see Baltimore ticket holders getting anything special except a refund... just ask Raleigh.

It totally does read as if us whom held onto tickets the past 2 years will probably get taken care of if they play the new venue down the road.

They should just give Baltimore ticket holders a presale code to which they can select tickets to any show with availability. 48-72 hours to pick, one time code, which happens before the public re-onsale.
I’m a huge advocate for traveling for PJ shows, but it’s definitely the case that most people don’t want to do that, and would not consider the opportunity to buy tickets for shows in other markets to be a palatable remedy here.
I agree with all of that as well. If people don't want to travel, then they still get their money back. As much as cancelling a show sucks, I think it should be noted that the band has no obligation to make up a cancelled date (as nice as it would be for something to happen for the lovely folks of Baltimore and surrounding area.)
Yeah.  I don't know if we will ever see a Raleigh show at this rate.  Fortunately, I think Baltimore has a much better shot just due to the proximity of locations they have played pretty heavily in the past.
Some of us had tickets to both and have had friends that aren't hardcore PJ fans doubt whether to make any plans again to see them.  Hoping they can find some way to make it back to both areas and recognize the prior postponements and ticketholders impacted.

Ultimately, it's not going to slow me down for going to see a 2022 show, but it definitely has left a mark on Raleigh-area fans that like the band but don't plan travel around them.

Makes you think that the Apollo show is still on, though.  Have to believe that all shows that couldn't be rescheduled would have been deemed "canceled" at the same time.
Not necessarily. This show was obviously in jeopardy because of the renovations. Maybe you're right, and they were holding off on announcing this until they were more sure it was the only one they'd need to cancel, but I wouldn't bank on that.

My kids still (jokingly) give me a hard time about 1…me spending so much time trying to get F2F Baltimore tix and 2 ….me insisting that they all learn how to do it so they could try when I was busy doing other necessary tasks such as prepare food for them.  I still didn’t get tix to that one but I think at some point I had someone here who agreed to take me as their extra. At this point, I have no idea.  Sorry for all of us that this isn’t happening but all of the events are obviously out of pj control.  I’m sure they did their best in decision making process to figure out how to look out for us as fans.  I suspect there will be something special for Baltimore tix holders down the road.

Negative announcement before positive announcement makes sense. Hopefully something drops soon not much buzz or info on the dates right now!

Since I now have no tickets, and given what we might see price wise if Pearl Jam embraces Ed's platinum method, I don't when I will get to see this band play live again.

Keep the faith. Once they announce dates I would assume some fans can’t keep their tickets.

I have 3 shows and if I can’t do them in 4 vacation days or less I’m going to have to pick.

I'd be in the middle of the Venn Diagram of people affected by those canceled shows.

  • Sucks for sure. Was enroute when Raleigh got cancelled. Had low # 10C seats for Baltimore. Had Cincy tickets during the flood. 10% of my shows have been cancelled 😟.

Yeah funny you bring that up.  I had Raleigh tickets when they cancelled over the "bathroom law" and now I am a Baltimore ticket holder that fought on F2F for a week before scoring and now this.  Gutted! Just not in the cards for me to see this band.
