I'm willing to bet Ed pays zero attention to what merch they sell.

yeah, the first time someone asks him for his signature on this variant he'll say no thinking it's a bootleg.Tim Simmons said:I'm willing to bet Ed pays zero attention to what merch they sell.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -

Maybe they couldn't? I don't know but this feels like a quick one off pressing because there was a huge delay which would mean that maybe they couldn't get more. If this was planned from the beginning that is one thing but we don't know. They probably thought this would be cool idea because of the delay, but they will never make everyone happy.Spiritual_Chaos said:0 -
You guys don't think he know what versions of his own music get's officially released? Come on. The shirts, pins, whatever, sure probably doesn't care that much but I'm sure he knows with the music itself at least.HughFreakingDillon said:

the different versions and variants? I don't know. there's a shitload of different versions and variants that are released internationally. maybe this one needs a "sign off" of his or something, but it wouldn't surprise me if he forgets about it as quickly as he found out about it. I'm sure he knows about commercial singles and releases, but limited editions and such? wouldn't seem important.iOnlyownMymind said:

I think this is exactly it. Some plant had capacity to pump out x,xxx amount of copies, so they jumped on it and made a basic sleeve with a sticker. Probably also produced by the plant. and they went for it.apirk72 said:

these are supposed to definitely ship next week? Not sure if that’s what it meant or got a confirmation from santos0

Totally agree. At worst, there was an email saying, "hey, we found a place that can press some quickly/the plant can get is x,xxx now and the rest later, so we're gonna do something cool for the 10c and make a special version". Ed probably said " sounds cool" and went back to throwing ax.HughFreakingDillon said:

I can't imagine hes super involved in the details outside of the music and art design, unless he wants to be.Post edited by Tim Simmons on0 -
I think the amount that was pressed was more than enough. These were available over an hour after they went on sale. Look at all the vault 1 complaints and that was up for 6 days, those complaints I do find ridiculous, however I do think anything that is gone in a little over an hour is valid for a complaint if someone didn’t get it in time.
people would have been upset no matter what though as it always sells out just before someone tries to buy it no matter how long it’s upPost edited by Cropduster-80 on0 -
Cancelled my 10C preorder today as well. If for some reason I feel the need to buy the standard release in July, I can grab it from my local shop or someplace without spending $$ to have it shipped.tdawe said:
Thanks - I did this and got a cancellation.HughFreakingDillon said:
check the status of your order. if it still says "processing" and not "processed" then you can email and request to cancel. they cancelled mine literally within 2 minutes of me sending the email.tdawe said:Would be a really nice gesture if we were permitted to cancel our regular LP orders.0 -
