    Dude, so many stupid questions.
Tell me you didn't meet her at work?
Ever go to watch her work?
Did you put a pole in at home?
Was she a regular gal who was OK with making money milking morons or someone whose  earlier trauma lead her to this without much choice?
    Did she do private parties?
Ever see her eat a huge meal of beans and cauliflower prior to a shift?
What was she doing with The Juggler?
Did you have to stop on the way home for ones every day?
Did you ever see any if her customers while you were out doing other things and have any craziness?
Did your buddies ask you all sorts of dumb questions like thus, but seriously?

I just want to mention that I dated a stripper, albeit briefly, about 20 years ago.

    Carry on.
a buddy of mine did too. Cruise Paradise. He kept badgering me to go to her shows in the mid afternoon at all these dives "to play pool"...she was trying to convince him to quit his job and become her "house manservant" because she made so much money (that she apparently thought would cruise her right through to retirement). It was bizarre. I kept asking him "you don't feel weird about all these guys seeing your girlfriend naked, including me, 4 times a day?". He did not feel weird about it.

    which in itself was weird.
    Darwinspeed, all.

    Cheers,

Lol....only "dated" her for like 6 weeks, maybe even less. ^ That stuff didn't bother me either, Hugh. Wasn't like we were getting married or anything.
And I did meet her at work....while I was at a liquid work lunch myself. Hey oh!

k, let me re-word the question: would it give Dem's a better chance of winning if Trump won the nom as opposed to say, Desantis winning the nom?
Anyone but tRump would be good for the Dems in my opinion.  The tRumpsters won't be fired up for anyone else.
It would also be less motivating for the anti Trump crowd, of which there are millions more.
I think this is where people are underestimating things.  Among my liberal friends and those into politics sure.  For my apolitical friends that vote or for republicans, I don't think that anti Trump sentiment is anywhere near what it once was. Like I said in the previous post, if Biden and Co do clean things up before '24 I agree with you that Trump won't be a problem.  We will just have to see how it goes.
Those republican friends wouldn't help the dems much anyway.

The other folks are the ones I mentioned trying to forget Trump right now. But if he is running again, they will have no choice but be inundated with images of a twice impeached president botching and politicizing a pandemic, refusing to admit defeat, and then failing to essentially, overthrow our democracy. Advantage: whoever is running against that guy. lol
You have more faith in the American people than I do.  In my opinion many people will view a constant barrage of negative trump ads as mudslinging and dirty politics.  Again, we will see.  Based on the ongoing voter suppression campaigns and the likelihood of R's gaining a majority at midterms I just don't have the belief it will be as cut and dried as you seem to think.   I am glad however that you seem to have a very positive attitude to the whole thing. I'm more of a doom and gloom plan for the worst type myself when it comes to these matters.
Didn't you also really believe Trump was going to win last year?

The one point in your post that I think we have to be most concerned about is the voter suppression stuff and new bogus laws that have come into place the last year. That is why I have been saying that saving our democracy trumps literally any other issue right now. Without safeguarding that, nothing else matters.
Yes I did think he would win, and he almost did.  I know record votes for Biden blah blah blah.  The point is it was much closer than it should have been.

And yes we are in agreement, if voting rights aren't secured before '24 get ready to be a right wing oligarchy in perpetuity.

Several years ago I did tax returns for a stripper.  I think I did them two years in a row and then she either moved away or went somewhere else.

    She made decent money...about $60K I think.

  • Lindsey Flimsey Flip Flop Faloozy Graham should give everyone pause.

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent GOP Leader Mitch McConnell a very clear message Wednesday night: Get on board with Donald Trump or get out.

Asked by Fox's Sean Hannity about the "swampiness" of the Kentucky senator, Graham answered this way:

"Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with Donald Trump. Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It's his nomination if he wants it. ... Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? ...

"I am not going to vote for anybody for leader of the Senate as a Republican unless they can prove to me that they can advocate an 'America First' agenda and have a working relationship with Donald Trump because if you can't do that you will fail."

Lindsey Graham just threatened Mitch McConnell over Donald Trump (msn.com)

And they have both hooked their wagons firmly and permanently to the POOTWH train. But this made me laugh. "old, broken down Crow." Sounds ageist.

There's no question that the on-again, off-again relationship between Trump and McConnell is currently in the off-again stage. Trump, unhappy with what he believes are McConnell's capitulations to the White House and Democrats in the Senate majority on things like raising the debt limit and President Joe Biden's infrastructure package, has taken to attacking McConnell publicly while privately working to find someone to challenge the GOP leader for primacy within the Senate.

(Trump is also now referring to McConnell as "Old Crow" or, alternately "old broken-down Crow." And, no, I have no idea why Trump capitalizes "Crow.")
And say what you want about Mitch, he knows how to manage his caucus.  Who's going to run against him and get the votes?  Trying to put public pressure on Mitch is worthless.

This is the trend though and with the POOTWH'ers taking over local election apparatuses, this is what you get.

Which reads like a threat, no? Graham is saying that McConnell needs to fix the relationship with Trump -- or else. Graham's... er... advice, comes just days after Trump called McConnell a "loser" in an interview with NPR and amid a growing trend among Republican Senate candidates who say they will not support McConnell for leader if they win their races.

Yeah are these new candidates running against Ds or are they trying to primary a sitting R? They'll change their tune if they win and want a decent committee.

But there’s typically a leadership vote at the start of every congress and I can see the POOTWH party floating a senator to challenge Moscow Mitchy Baby. Even maybe Lindsey Flimsy Flip Flop Faloozy. Or a newly elected Senator who’s got six years until re-election.

A newly disclosed memorandum citing “unprecedented” meddling by the Trump administration in the 2020 census and circulated among top Census Bureau officials indicates how strongly they sought to resist efforts by the administration to manipulate the count for Republican political gain.

The document was shared among three senior executives including Ron S. Jarmin, a deputy director and the agency’s day-to-day head. It was written in September 2020 as the administration was pressing the bureau to end the count weeks early so that if President Donald J. Trump lost the election in November, he could receive population estimates used to reapportion the House of Representatives before leaving office.

Lindsey Flimsey Flip Flop Faloozy Graham should give everyone pause.
