And they have both hooked their wagons firmly and permanently to the POOTWH train. But this made me laugh. "old, broken down Crow." Sounds ageist.

There's no question that the on-again, off-again relationship between Trump and McConnell is currently in the off-again stage. Trump, unhappy with what he believes are McConnell's capitulations to the White House and Democrats in the Senate majority on things like raising the debt limit and President Joe Biden's infrastructure package, has taken to attacking McConnell publicly while privately working to find someone to challenge the GOP leader for primacy within the Senate. (Trump is also now referring to McConnell as "Old Crow" or, alternately "old broken-down Crow." And, no, I have no idea why Trump capitalizes "Crow.")

And say what you want about Mitch, he knows how to manage his caucus.  Who's going to run against him and get the votes?  Trying to put public pressure on Mitch is worthless.

This is the trend though and with the POOTWH'ers taking over local election apparatuses, this is what you get.

Which reads like a threat, no? Graham is saying that McConnell needs to fix the relationship with Trump -- or else. Graham's... er... advice, comes just days after Trump called McConnell a "loser" in an interview with NPR and amid a growing trend among Republican Senate candidates who say they will not support McConnell for leader if they win their races.

Yeah are these new candidates running against Ds or are they trying to primary a sitting R? They'll change their tune if they win and want a decent committee.

But there’s typically a leadership vote at the start of every congress and I can see the POOTWH party floating a senator to challenge Moscow Mitchy Baby. Even maybe Lindsey Flimsy Flip Flop Faloozy. Or a newly elected Senator who’s got six years until re-election.

The monstah is out of the box, Sully! Oh mmmmmmy gawd, sully, what is it??

A newly disclosed memorandum citing “unprecedented” meddling by the Trump administration in the 2020 census and circulated among top Census Bureau officials indicates how strongly they sought to resist efforts by the administration to manipulate the count for Republican political gain.

The document was shared among three senior executives including Ron S. Jarmin, a deputy director and the agency’s day-to-day head. It was written in September 2020 as the administration was pressing the bureau to end the count weeks early so that if President Donald J. Trump lost the election in November, he could receive population estimates used to reapportion the House of Representatives before leaving office.

Lindsey Flimsey Flip Flop Faloozy Graham should give everyone pause.

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham sent GOP Leader Mitch McConnell a very clear message Wednesday night: Get on board with Donald Trump or get out.

Asked by Fox's Sean Hannity about the "swampiness" of the Kentucky senator, Graham answered this way:

"Elections are about the future. If you want to be a Republican leader in the House or the Senate, you have to have a working relationship with Donald Trump. Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? He is the most consequential Republican since Ronald Reagan. It's his nomination if he wants it. ... Can Senator McConnell effectively work with the leader of the Republican party, Donald Trump? ...

"I am not going to vote for anybody for leader of the Senate as a Republican unless they can prove to me that they can advocate an 'America First' agenda and have a working relationship with Donald Trump because if you can't do that you will fail."

Lindsey Graham just threatened Mitch McConnell over Donald Trump (msn.com)

I'm feeling a lot of reverberation after reading the Trump train wreck interview and then this.

Embarrassing. Is there really a realistic path to a Trump vs Clinton rematch in 2024? I can’t imagine a worse scenario.

their psychotic base is already riled up. why else would a man who lost the popular vote twice be out campaigning for a 3rd election and still have people show up at the rallies?

    I mean...it's Anne Coulter but...

“EXCLUSIVE: Trump is demanding to know Ron DeSantis's booster status, and I can now reveal it,” Coulter wrote. “He was a loyal booster when Trump ran in 2016, but then he learned our president was a liar and con man whose grift was permanent. I hope that clears things up.”
