For the most part I certainly lean left. Whichever side one is on though, I can't quite figure out all the hyprocrisy behind it all.
I know a fellow who loves to rage on the social media about cancel culture and BLM and all those things. And one day he posted a video of some right wing woman playing a small venue and singing a song called "fuck your feelings" which mocked those she deemed to be 'sensitive' and 'PC.' My buddy thought it was hilarious and hailed it as an 'anthem' of sorts. And it's stuff like that the puts me very much in line with the left.
Those who sit comfortably on the right for whatever reason are extremely vulgar and offensive when it comes to the treatment of those who have a differing opinion. If someone (on the left) complains about something they (on the right) feel is perfectly ok, then it becomes mocked, and memed, and made fun of. Yet, they themselves (the right) will get completely bent out of shape and complain about something that they feel is wrong. Drives me nuts. Rant over.Toronto 2000

It goes both ways.0 -
I don't see the reactions and behaviour 'both ways' though in terms of maturity or language. Hopefully this will make more sense in terms of name calling.... the following terms get lumped into the same people and things that fall under a left leaning belief structure:
Snowflake, PC police, libtard, radical left, wokeness, woke mob, cancel culture, Sleepy Joe, Crazy Nancy, Shifty Schiff, etc.
The same types of people who use those terms also tend to throw around terms like Socialists and Communists in utterly dumb ways. And this is generally speaking, but from what I can see, there is also a tendency by right leaning supporters to use brash curse words. In Canada for example, I saw and continue to see "FUCK TRUDEAU" bumper stickers and graffiti. Unless I just roll in difference circles or live in a weird area of Canada... I haven't seen anything remotely close to that style of vulgarity towards any conservative politician, ever. For those Canadians reading, a clearer reference of what I'm eluding to is like looking at the differences in personality and behaviour between Don Cherry and Ron MacLean.
To put it in a different way. Two completely biased media companies CNN & Fox. If you watch Fox News between 6PM - 10PM I guarantee you're going to hear those pundits zing out a bunch of the aforementioned words and phrases. Watch CNN from the same time and while you're going to get biased coverage, the language at least tends to be more mature. While both are biased, there is a distinct difference in the delivering of messages. And in that sense, I don't see the behaviour exemplified 'both ways.' I could be wrong though.

I'm talking about the public in general, mainstream media, social media.
And its actually a good talking point here as well.. and I'll ask if you're American... did anti-Trump type folk rock "FUCK TRUMP" bumper stickers and shirts etc?
Also, with reference to all the zing phrases, are their words or phrases that I'm not mentioning with regards to how right leaning folks are referred to as?
Like when Aaron Rodgers complains about the woke mob and cancel culture... what words did Caepernick or his supporters use towards those who were against him? Know what I mean?Toronto 2000

Kapernick wore the pig socks. I still don't understand why he did that. Then the Casrto shirt that made a bunch of Cuban ex-pats mad.
For one liners and such just visit the GOP page. There are plenty. Repubes is a good one. Or as soon as they disagree the Q-anon title gets slapped on(I'm guilty of this one).
For utter vulgarity I say right side. In general as a whole it's just not pretty for either side. It brings out the worst in each party...0 -
Both sides the same? I don't see people on the left doing the stupid rolling coal bullshit. This gif is not me, but it could be. I got the exact same treatment yesterday while driving my much aged 2008 Prius:

Rolling coal is the practice of modifying a diesel engine to emit large amounts of black or grey sooty exhaust fumes, diesel fuel that has not undergone complete combustion.A predominantly North American phenomenon, rolling coal is sometimes used as a form of anti-environmentalism. Such modifications may include the intentional removal of the particulate filter.

Some dumbasses have done it to Teslas not knowing they have video systems which is then used as evidence against them.0 -

Edit: I get it now. The dumbasses actually roll coal ON the tesla from their truck, not in a Tesla.Post edited by tempo_n_groove on0 -
