    I am so psyched to watch the climbing. Not so much the speed climbing, because that’s pretty repetitive, but I am looking forward to the bouldering and lead climbing.

    I think cornhole may someday replace the 100 m as the signature event...add in beer and a few southern folks and a microphone and it might be the most exciting...

    Skateboarding last night was a letdown. The bit we caught included ONE move, then done.

    We saw that too. The actual CBC (Canadian Broadcaster) was just showing interviews and videos on different events, but no actual live events.   You had to grab the app, but then the app shows gratitious commercials trying to get you to pay for it.

    We finally get to the skating via an American feed, but it was pretty boring.   One trick down a rail... lol.   I was expecting something a bit more free from like snowboarding half pipe where you string together moves a la Tony Hawk.

    Also tried to watch some of the surfing but got bored of that too.

    I guess I'm more of a winter olympics kind of person.  Watching people do things that I can do (mostly) just faster and better, seems less interesting to me, than events I would be terrified to do (Ski Jumping, luge etc...).

    I watched some of the men's USA vs France men's volleyball. Wow those guys can hit the ball. There were some balls that knocked over some of the guys when they spiked/killed the ball.

    I read Japan will lose at least 20 billion…lmfao.  Toyota cancelled their ads in support of the Japanese people who wanted the games cancelled…

    and yes fans matter.  Now Japan and her citizens are really on the hook…

    and many of those venues will not be utilized when the games are over.

    countries need to re-think if the bullshit Olympics are worth it anymore…
