    really. so the US contracts before they were even established as effective 200 million doses each of Pfizer and moderna and funded the development of the moderna as well as others through op warpspeed.

    do you know what the manufacturing capacity of all combined was? Fuck J&J had to trash millions ofdoses cuz of conditions at one facility. AND still had to honor the US contract first.

    So wasnt Canada in line like everyone else until production ramped up significantly?  especially since vax isnt manufactured in Canada?

    Well there you go.  The question wasn't about break through cases in the country but specifically in the WH staff.  I wouldn't answer that either for two reasons:

    1. It gets awfully close to private information and certainly there are plenty of dickheads that would try to find out and publish who has COVID and who doesn't, among the WH staff.

    2. You can't draw conclusions among a small cohort of individuals which would be a statistically insignificant number of people.  

    So the question as to why that's important is a good one.  If you can't draw medical conclusions, why would the WH release that personal type information?  If you want to know about breakthroughs, there is data from the CDC which is more useful.

    The president's health status is obviously of national security.  Staffers are different.  Did these people self disclose or was it under pressure from the press to the WH that led to the information?  I'm pretty sure it's the former.  And last, of course some of these people aren't WH staffers.

    That’s accurate. For example an employer should not ask for your covid test result, as it is protected Heath information, but your vaccination status is not. An American  employer can ask you for proof that you are vaccinated. 

    Your picture of the Coney Barrett super spreader event was notable because it showed people in authority ignoring safety requirements and local regulations and many were infected as a result. That is not what happened with the breakthrough cases in the Biden admin. I think trump supporters know this but are making a dishonest comparison 

    If we were all honest with each other we would have a chance to get out of this mess, instead of misrepresenting the truth about the virus and vaccines.

    well good to hear that some places are lifting restrictions.

    st louis city and county are back to indoor mask mandates starting monday 7/26. this is directly due to the high numbers of unvaccinated people here.

    also one of the largest hospital systems here are now issuing vaccine mandates that have to be verified by independent credentializing organizations by aug 13. . basically you have to get vaccinated and submit your card, have the card verified by independent organization, or you are banned from entry and doing business at that hospital system. i figured that was coming so my 2 teammates and i got our vaccines verified a few months ago.

    my purpose in my career now is to go in there and steal business from the unvaccinated reps at other companies. This has gone on long enough, and we are going in to get that fucking business.

    forgot to state in my post that ususally whatever this hospital system does, the rest follow their lead. so those jabronis that did not get vaccinated are going to be in trouble. if you cannot get into a facility to do business, you lose. and it will be their own fault.
